Just do both. Add an electromaniac (killing) and an electromaniac (evil).
Looking for thoughts on a different name. I'm debating on using electrocutioner, and keeping the feedback the same, or a completely different theme to it, and i'll differentiate the feedback.
Yea they are entirely different dynamics, that's for sure.
I also think it would be impossible to make this have a "roleblocker" option if you're letting everyone's actions go through when they die lol.
haven't decided on whether people's actions should go through. Which would be better for Neutral Killer version? obviously in a role-blocking version, their actions wouldn't go through.

i think what would be better is if these were two separate roles, since they really are different enough. I like the role-block mechanism too. I could even leave the same feedback for extra 'fuckings'

Where would I put that in the randoms? Would it just not get randomed if I turn off that setting for Neutral Killers?

i'd like to leave them healable, but a couple of other cases came up.
To buff it up, should charged targets never lose their charge, like if they're healed?
What about this order of operation. A, B and C are charged, and their actions don't happen simultaneously, like kills do. A visits B. A and B die. But B was supposed to visit C. Would C also die? 'Charged people completing their action' would go against this.
I almost like the idea that if 1 person targets another charged person, they both get role blocked. This makes it a good deterrent role imo. Charged Sheriff can't check Charged Mafia. Charged Doctor cant heal Charged team mates.
It would be a strong neutral evil role in a game. But I think the including it as your neutral killing role gives town too large of an advantage.
But to buff him, you could make it so he can charge 2 people n1. He could charge a person a second time and kill him. I'm not sure what else.
I'm including the second one for sure. The first one is just a pain to implement, given the code as is.

so it's sounding like this role is pretty weak, and i should be looking for ways to buff it as much as possible?
Not allowing people to do their action, would be an indirect buff...
Thanks for the responses, I've never played with the role, but it sounds pretty interesting,

Currently implementing ElectroManiac
-Should charged people complete their action when they visit? I'm deciding to implement this by having the person die when they complete their visit, and not during the regular 'kill phase'
-Should Electromaniac be immune to being charged by other EMs?
-Should EMs start off being charged?
-How powerful are EMs in comparison to SK, Arson, MM, and Poisoner?
