Even though this is light, it's a bit wild if Pizza specifically singled out their partners, but this ultimately means nothing.
Overall this vote on Pare looks good, but it's still fairly early and the "quite confusing thing we're playing" feels performative but maybe more in a dramatic more than a wolfy way.
They soften the stance on Pare. You can argue Pare's response indicates they felt pressured, but considering the performative bent of the last post, I'm not so sure. Most points I'd give here is I'd expect the performance of a preferred push would have lasted a bit longer.
Noted defense of Scarf while shading Pare. A mix of favorable and ? Reads for flipped town and current townreads. Kind of a mixed bag, not sure what I get from it unless I put weight on the read of Scarf
Mmm, I could see how this be pocketing of Tinnitus.
Shade on Snuggles which bothers me a bit because Goblin took the same stance and I think also argued with Scarf about it.
Mmm. I don't know. I fear that wolves might have been doing what they can to influence the idea of Scarf as a thread leader. I want to like that they disagree a bit and go post by post giving their own take, but I'm not sure it's really enough.
Man, every time I think Pizza is doing something that could be spew-y with a wolf, it feels kind of soft. I do like that in the same breath as townreading Four Past Seven, they're also disagreeing with their post calling Pare town. It's just kind of a soft disagree rather than an attempt to convince Four.
I read this post at the time as trying to find reasons to scumread Protag rather than actually solving them. I don't think it's as wolfy as I did before, but I still don't get anything particularly good from this post beyond effort and probably a clear if Protag is scum(which I'm still not feeling great about despite BHD's flip).
I do kinda feel if Protag is town, this was maybe scum trying to have room to push Pilgrim and Protag simultaneously but eh?
I do like this attempt to engage with me though. Like they could have just focused on arguing about Protag or even shading me for disagreeing, but instead they're like "I don't remember you, let's talk." Not that wolves can't do that, but so far given the circumstances, I like it.
I don't remember if Pizza ever updated their read with this in mind, but I said at the time that this felt like a very towny lightbulb moment, particularly because it has the tone of "Oh fuck, maybe I was reading you wrong and need to re-evaluate with this new context."
I'm pretty sure this actually was the first post to call out Pyramid. And then they immediately back me up with a fire in the second post. The one thing I'll say is that the first one has the "ITA tomorrow for sure" part which could maybe be performative considering the wagons at the time were largely on town and Pyramid was in little danger. But I still think this is overall a good look.
Mmm. This post actually looks bad if Protag is scum. It's also light enough that it could mean nothing if Protag is town. But I like that they've basically dropped the push while voting Pyramid.
Keeping up the push on Pyramid and pushing against Scarf for it.
Ok, they so sort of question the Thumbs Up vote, but otherwise I like that they're questioning other CFDs on town.
