Forum Mafia, while different from the mod has much less trolls and actually tests your ability to scum read. There are actually somethings you can pick up from playing Forum Mafia and apply to the mod, but because the mod is so trolly, theres not much you can take from the mod and apply here.

"Hard town-read" is an overstatement. I think that his second post about setup is a question a townie would've ask. I doubt a mafia would've asked it. This is where my read comes from.

You know never unlucky, i town read Minotarr for his town noobness. He reminds me of myself in my first game. i actually argued that for a beginners game a day 1 may be better to be skipped as opposed to everyone sheeping and placing an uneducated vote. I have the same read on him though it's much more nuanced than just "noob town". He needs people to ping him for him to contribute, he sheeped Dragon's point of me "defending Spruance" (YOU DID TOO MESK, SHAME ON YOU) and I can see some scum-motivation behind him bringing up the Spruance defense point against me and painting me as scum by doing so.

I'm liking what I see of his personality too (Not game related, but better be said than kept for myself). He sounds cute, don't you think?

Yes I am a mod player, I also was reading the Island Conflict yesterday because the game interested me and because Unknown1234 the host of this game told me that this was a lot of fun and yes I was getting a feel for it and it's pretty interesting.

I personally think this is a great community that'll take off when more mod players hear about it. I think that the forum mafia is a lot more complicated than I thought it would be and that hosting would be a lot of fun to do.

His/her vote is not the suspicious part. All FM games start with a random vote stage, it is normal for Funce to vote Spruance this early on. The suspicious parts of his/her play so far is that he/she talked on Dragon's behalf and disappeared without answering my last questions (Could be due to RL, who knows).

@Minotarr Why do you point out Funce's vote on Spruance but not Balls' vote on Eggy?
