This is scummy as fuck. The Joker selected two people BEFORE day 1. Which means they had no clue what ika or stealth would flip. Was it not only logical for him to kill 2 people n1 anyways?

i think i stated this before, or if not, i'm going to explicitly state this now,

fury is not a mafia read for me, and i want to try to lynch the last mafia. if we get joker, i'll take it, but i'm not going to support the fury train.

You seem to be awfully certain Fury is Joker, even if it's only at an implicit level. Like you have totally discounted any possibilty of him being mafia as well.

If you are maf, taking the stance that we should keep the joker alive for now guarantees that a)you can lead us astray by lynching a townie and b) the joker has a high chance of taking out more town. The latter part also presents a risk to yourself should the joker target you, but mafia might be willing to risk it in order to thin out town power roles.

I think there is a strong chance of him being detective, given that a couple of us were ready to rally a lynch and no counterclaims were forthcoming. That could be a case of teh right people being AFK at the wrong time, but it is a point in his favor.
