1. Gyrloser, Oops, Spruance = my lynch pool. Explanations are in the spoilers and I'm putting Unknown and Kovath in charge of making sure people actually read this thing.

I would highly recommend lynching Oops/ Gyrloser today and make sure that those two do NOT live until LYLO.

Spoiler : NU defended him from an early point, citing his baseless train as a reason for this. I would be inclined to agree but I town-read the voters so this point isn't valid to me :

Oops: Null. He is sort of trolling like Brendan. But, the fact that he has 3 votes on him for what seems to be no reason makes me think that he isn't scum. I'd like him to post actual content though.

The points that NU made against Brendan are applicable to Oops.

• NU null-town read him on account of the early train...even though Brendan's train was equally shitty.
• NU scum-read Brendan and Spruance for not contributing, yet only said that Oops "should contribute more"
• He mocked Brendan for having shitty reads yet was silent when Oops openly said that he wouldn't give his own.
• He scum-read Brendan for listing Brendan's own voters as scum-reads but didn't find it suspicious that Oops went out of his way to discredit FB after FB voted for him.

tl;dr: NU was hypocritical with his reads on Brendan/ Oops and NU painted Oops in a favourable light compared to other players. NU defending a scum buddy in this manner is a probable scenario.

Spoiler : NU's list where he 'directs PRs' suggests that Oops should be PARDONED BY THE GOVERNOR. This makes me think that the Governor is town-aligned and NU was trying to make a scum buddy lynch-immune for a day.

Seriously, NU isn't operating on a high level of WIFOM here :

100% recommend pressuring him for those sick reads of his. The whole "LOL I'M BAITING FOR READS BUT I'M SAVING THEM FOR LATER" routine will bite him in the arse if he doesn't follow up. Looks like a stalling tactic to avoid contributing. His excuse of "lol not joining the circlejerk" also makes no sense.

Textbook definition of a no-contributor. He's being more serious/ less trolly than normal so could be scum, according to his self-professed meta of trolling as town.

He has made some weird comments of "Calix is being too aggressive" after he saw my M-FM play. This is odd because he considered aggression a town tell in the M-FM (when he said "Pharah is too aggressive to actually be mafia") but now he finds it suspicious?

Spoiler : He makes this string of posts where he insinuates that I could be scum, but then he backtracks and falls shy of actually saying "Calix is scummy/ a scum-read" - this is suspicious as scum generally dislike taking strong positions :

Spoiler : Relevant NU quotes. Spruance might be town as NU scum-read him for his shitastic play and lack of contribution (take note that NU DOESN'T SCUM-READ OOPS FOR NOT CONTRIBUTING) but he should still be pressured nonetheless :

Spruance hasn't given his opinion about this game. I'm just genuinely trying to pressure him to talk according to his play of voting whoever slipped.

Spruance: Null/lean-scum. He absolutely refused to contribute, or even attempt to contribute. I also disliked how he talked about how Overwatch mined his self-confidence. I felt like it was off-topic and didn't excuse him from giving reads. His posts are illogical, but that's not indicative of alignment. Only thing holding me from a scum-read is his meta. From my experience, he semi-lurks and only slightly contributes as town.

Spoiler : Gyrloser :

A. Avoids all of the major wagons (Brendan, NU) - this is in line with his scum meta as he fears being held accountable for a mislynch.

He deliberately evaded voting for NU and he started trolling when NU's train was gaining traction. When asked why he was voting for Unknown over NU, he responded with "NU is posting a lot" - this explanation does not add up because Unknown is the 2nd highest poster in the thread.

B. Has made multiple suspicious comments. He called Brendan a "mislynch" on the basis of ONE post (which he didn't elaborate on and when pushed, responded with "magic")

Secondly, he fake-voted for me. When Unknown asked why, Gyrloser fake-voted for Unknown and said that Unknown was "even scummier" for "failing a reaction test". Three problems here:

1. How is fake-voting for the pardoned target going to lead to any reactions?

2. How was Unknown's response of "Calix can't be lynched today lol" indicative of scum?

3. Unknown had not posted beforehand, thus meaning that Gyrloser calling Unknown "even" scummier does not make sense.

C. Pointless soft-claim of his role. (I suspect Congressman myself) I feel that he is the 'infiltrator' in the Congressman chat.

Spoiler : D. NU largely ignored Gyrloser and the only comment I could find that related to him was low-key defending him :

Well, I honestly think that Gyrlander was simply making a joke by voting you in the first place. In that sense, I disregarded this query of yours being that Gyrlander didn't pay attention to the OP. However, the query about Gyrlander wanting to pressure Unknown but doing nothing to get this player in the heat was valid.

2. Here is why I town-read everyone else.

Spoiler : I'm being extremely generous with doling these out :

Eggy

Firstly, his paranoia over dying is townie as fuck. Secondly, meta. Look at his posts in Instant Mafia 1.0 + AI - there is a MASSIVE difference between his town/ scum game.

Gamefreak

Makes strong points which I agree with + had a flimsy case made against him by NU. Not focusing on him much because this slot will sort itself out. It's going to look really suspicious if he keeps scum-reading townies and/ or survives until a 3v2/ 2v1 LYLO scenario.

Unknown

Fared well against NU's attacks + was neutered by the scum N0. Early posts feel townie in tone. Attitude towards scum-hunting + recent scum-hunting attempts also feel authentic. Slightly wary because he is capable of bussing and it wouldn't look suspicious for him to survive to end-game.

Mesk

Hammered NU, apparently without reading the thread. (so could have let a 'No Lynch' happen, but not a strong point) Mostly town-reading her for her long post and genuine emotional responses. Main criticism is that she seems overly confident in some of her points.

Kovath

Wouldn't mind seeing this dead if his content doesn't improve as it's just some whining at the moment, but I'm not so certain on this read following NU's flip:
a) NU's attacks on Kovath look more like he was painting Kovath as scummy.
b) Kovath actively changed votes onto scum when he could have lurked and tried to force a No-Lynch.

If I am correct with scum!Gyrloser, then that means Kovath scum-read both of his team-mates on D1...which is horrendous scum play in this setup.

Brendan

Posts are literal shite and it's possible he is scum and both were bussing. However, he has three points saving him from a scum-read:
a) his train was absolute crap and happened way too easily.
b) NU was trying to lynch him. Read NU's attack on Brendan - it's not a case as much as it is narrating and painting Brendan as scum.
c) Gyrloser potentially spewed Brendan as town with the "this is a mislynch" comment. If Gyrloser flips scum, Brendan gains town points.

For the love of God, don't go full retard and policy lynch this slot, thanks.

Firebringer

Weakest town read, would need to be pressured more to tell. Gains some town points for being the 2nd voter on the NU train. Hard to read because he's adopted the worst parts of MS meta. Would need to look at future associations/ votes to glean his motivations.

Firebringer: Null/lean-scum. His play is incoherent. He says that my actions don't match my "tone" and that he scumreads me, yet he proceeds to vote oops ur ded a couple posts later. His actions don't match his words. Plus he didn't share his reasoning as to why oops would be scum. Him defending Spruance is beyond me.

3. Using pre-flip associations, buddying, etc, is a shit idea when we might only have one scum player left.

Only use NU's posts for associative tells. Hell, I even included them in some of my reads to help you lazy fucks out.

4. We have 8-9 townies (AKA, 2-3 MLs) so town-clearing is a better idea than scum-hunting as a lot of townies are playing poorly this game.

I feel insulted that you made this post without reading my posts. I ask you to re-do an analysis of me and to reply to my comments.

I cannot quote the direct points, but there are a few posts here that should be taken into consideration when reading oops. Specifically look at #4 and #10. #4 is NU is stating that 3/12 votes on oops were enough for him not to even consider oops as scum. Very interesting. Not to mention that they later said "oops hasn't posted enough for me too have any other read than null, Brendan's posts were more than enough for me to scum-read him" they were almost identical. Neither of them contributed, and it doesn't matter how many posts they make because neither of them posted at a high level. It just shows that NU was reluctant to scum-read oops for whatever reason, possibly because they're teammates.

#10 Shows the obvious reaction of me saying they didn't defend oops. Why would they care so much, and why would their reaction be so strong? Because they didn't want to be linked together.

Unknown: No strong feeling on him. A remark: From my experience with Unknown, he's a major contributor to the town. Only this time, he's not contributing in the slightest (because he has no votes? That doesn't excuse him.)

GameFreak: Lean-scum. Like FB, he thinks my actions don't match my tone, but doesn't vote me. I did not like this quote from him, "I like Kovath's [posts], they seem reasoned." He was talking about his reads, so I assume that this meant that he town-reads Kovath. By saying so , he's implying that the scums' posts lack reasoning... Moreover, I feel like the reason behind his vote on FB is lacking. FB attacking me and defending Spruance only seems wrong to him because he thinks me and Spruance are in the same boat. He's using pre-flip as a reason to vote FB.

Corrupt players cannot perform a night action and the night kill at the same time.

If we lynch among the Voters/ Congressmen/ Mayor, then the remaining Corrupt PRs have to sacrifice their night action to perform a kill.

If one of the actions is missing, it is almost guaranteed that the missing action is because that PR is scum and was sent for the night kill.

All town PRs should submit an action every night to prove that they did not enact the night kill.

I'm congressman. Other congressmen can confirm this: last message in our night chat as of this post was made at 03:17 PM ET, starting with "If I don't live".

There are two other congressmen, I can tell who's who by writing styles. I'll call them C1 and C2.

C1 is almost certainly Unknown, potentially Mesk (90% sure it's Unknown though). C1 has been engaging in quite a bit of conversation. Nothing suspicious thus far.

C2 has been completely avoiding conversation, except for at the very beginning. I am pretty sure at this point that C2 is scum, and if not, the mayor is scum. We can assume that the scum is two power roles, because it doesn't make sense for them to send the SA to kill someone when they could have sent a voter instead. My suspicion is that scum assumed that congressmen would lose their night/day chat abilities if they sent a congressman to kill someone, and feigned inactivity beforehand so that there wouldn't be any suspicion. Otherwise, the scum pair would have to be mayor/SA. Either that or scum is doing something weird.

My best read on C2 right now is either Mesk or Kovath. Im assuming this solely based off of typing styles, personality, and (mostly) taking into account the times that said players post in the thread vs when they post in the congressman chat.

I ask that whoever the second congressman is step up, either to prove me wrong or defend themselves.

I thought so initially as well, and that's what I thought his initial reasons for being suspicious of me were (based off dumb shit we were saying in the chat and him confusing the two of us). My reads are much weaker on C2, so I still think it is possible for it to be him.
