This is an opening troll post, but just saying: if he’s scum, then this post is trying to play it off as a joke. Or it’s just a troll post. Dunno.

At the time, this seemed overly sensitive to me asking him to elaborate on his read on the Governor pardoning Calix “trying to kiss her ass” when my question was: “Do you think 'trying to kiss her as' has any bearing on what the Governor's alignment is?”

Not anything that particularly screams scum motivation at me, but it did feel weird, especially after he just let the point drop when finally answering my question. Could be sensitive town, I guess, but I don’t get a strong feeling of that.

All I know right now calix is doing a good job of doing her "Angry/Annoyed Town" impersonation. Or maybe its genuine.
She can't fake it forever, so maybe she will slip up eventually if she is scum.

Beginning of Spruance chainsaw, questions Calix on the utility of her pursuing Spruance despite not pushing any original threads of thought himself. Seems to be trying to shut down or deflect the conversation more than anything.

You could, but you would be deflecting the point. You also bring up something irrelevant to the conversation such as "What have you done?" That isn't what we are talking about so its a moot point.

We have both played with SPruance and I think we can both agree his logic is weird if not downright alien. So when you try to pick argument fights with him it looks like you are just trying to find something to latch onto to make sure you can maintain a fake "Calix is angry/annoyed" attitude.

This post is something that, on the surface, pings me as townie given NU’s flip and FB’s participation in the train. I would normally suspect this as a kind of way to casually throw shade on a scummate while leaving ample room to back off if necessary (oh, my gut feeling’s changed!), but FB mainly operates with gut reads and not heavy analysis so… that point’s slightly less valid.

This is such a low bar to operate with, and given that people have managed to townread him correctly before like in the M-FM… I’m not sure if FB meant ‘useful-town’ here, but I’m not going to put words in his mouth so this reads suspiciously to me. He's leaving a lot for himself to wriggle in a townread on Spruance, I'm not sure what that means about Spruance's alignment but it feels weird from FB and has some potential scum motivation.

It’s just such a drastic change from the early-mid phase of the game, where he was engaged in serious discussion with Calix + the short one with myself – now he moves into a heavy troll mode after being called out, I’m thinking to reflect suspicion with such an attitude.

Also been reading Calix posts, I now have her as null-town. I think I was wrong about her faking it. this is her "everyone who pushes me is my enemy and is scum!" lol.

Reverses read on Calix after reading her posts, does that mean he wasn’t reading them before? Why did the reread alter his opinion like this? This could be town honestly re-evaluating, but it more feels like failing to get traction on his push against Calix and so reverting to a “safe-read” and moving on to avoid getting locked in a 1v1 tunnel where he was looking worse.

Flips to town, I think his lynch was pretty much assured by then? Provides no reasoning for his switch, could simply be attempting to say “Oh I was townreading oops by the end, I wasn’t involved in his mislynch!” when he was the one who basically began it in the first place.

Getting really scummy feelings and also a sense of a scum narrative from Firebringer – the only point making me hesitant is his participation in the Never Unlucky train. There’s a potential possibility of bad town in his play, but the scum narrative is more compelling to me and outweighs it.

From D1 I had the chainsaw + flippancy projection, and D2 had far less contributions but strange flopping and reversals around oops’ slot for unknown reasons.
