Re: S-FM 337: Play at Your Own Risk

My brain has quite a few questions bumping a round in it. If Matrix is scum, why did Looney kill All Star (who voted Last Hope and SRed Bisected), who wasn't even consensus town, over the cop claim? If Matrix is town, why did Looney not self pres on to Last Hope if Last Hope is town?

Would scum do the cop/parity cop claims back to back on purpose to ensure one is cleared with a lot of mana, while also getting Looney's vengeful kill off as a bonus? If Matrix is town, is being blackmailed actually the effect of a player, and if so, were they among the ones pushing Matrix for it?

To be honest, that's the reason I am not pushing Silent for now.
Why did you keep it for yourself ?

That's a good point now you mention it. Which is why I'm having a bad feeling that killing Matrix might not end the game after all.

I think that scum killing their defenders can work in removing suspicion on themselves, because of the WIFOM logic.
Why would scum kill their defender/s, because they can use the town they pocketed to defend them from being chopped.
Yet by killing the pocketed town, the dead townie can't realise they are pocketed and change their mind.

That's a weird reason for scum to kill someone.
Wouldn't it make sense to kill the one who is most likely town and wouldn't vote with them, rather than a possible neutral who might vote with scum given the correct incentives?

Eh, i guess you're right. Perhaps they had knowledge of his role or something.

If that's the case, explain why All Stars didn't have that ability in their rolecard.
