You vote with [vote]MartinGG99[/vote]. I am using special code to make it visible. Keep in mind the username must exactly match on the username on the website (including characters such as spaces) or the bot will not count it.

If you want to remove your vote in its entirety, just vote me or unvote with [unvote][/unvote].

If a majority occurs, a bot named The Godfather will automatically pop-in, post vote-count, and immediately lock the thread. As for ending day at the end of day, I must do that manually unfortunately so if there are any disruptions IRL due to my Internship I may not be able to do an instant lock on the thread the moment EoD hits. Regardless of however delayed I am, if I am manually closing day I will do a double check for any invalid, post-EoD votes.

Inspired by the "I'm Spartacus" scene, designed for a smaller player count and be largely simple in nature.

Typical vanilla-like game (mafia/romans kill every night, mafia get to chat with eachother 24/7, etc). Most rules up to the discretion of the host, to be noted in signups. HOWEVER, the following may not be changed what-so-ever:

"Spartacus" flips with no alignment and only reveals their role.

The Roman Loyalist flips as if they were Spartacus.

The game begins with a 24-hour night 0. There is no night kill for night 0. During this time the Romans may opt to swap their roles if they so wish, but when Day 1 begins they can no longer swap roles.

Additions upon & since signups:

- If there is a conflict between the Romans on who to kill, the Legionnaire has the final say.

- On day 1 the voting will be plurality only. There-after a majority vote will instantly end the day.

- Voting ties are decided by RNGjesus, which will be funny if Jesus offs the Romans in a tie. EXCEPT the tie is always in the roman's favor IF AND ONLY IF winning the tie means instantly winning the game. Otherwise it just feels bad for the Romans.

- Self-votes disabled. (I didn't make that bold, the site did)

- Minimum of 10 posts per day phase. I don't care how much or how little effort you put into those posts -- so long as posts were made.

Disciplinary process for failure to meet minimum post requirement (experience has told us that a crystal-clear predictable process is important):

1. Did a mid-day hammer occur?
1a. Yes -> Subject to host's discretion. If it happened before the first half of a day phase, the rule will likely be waived/ignored for everyone for simplicity's sake. If not, the rule will be applied based on how much time has elapsed and how many posts were made by the min post violator(s).
1b. No -> Go to step 2.
2. Did the violation occur on Day 1?
2a. Yes -> Private warning and requirement to make a minimum of 20 posts on Day 2 and, if failing that as well, go to step 2b.
2b. No -> Automatic modkill -- past games have shown a lackluster pool of replacements and ineffective warnings beyond day 1 so unfortunately modkill is necessary.

If a modkill for violating the minimum post rule occurs, then the flip occurs at the same time that the modkill did.

If there is a majority hammer, for the sake of simplicity the following night will only be extended rather than arriving at the next day phase any time sooner. I will process the sudden EoD from the hammer when I reasonably can and am not in the middle of work.

Sept 7-8, (Night 0, starts early with an extension because I got invited to a one-time event)
Sept 8-10, (Day 1 -- should be normal)
Sept 10-11, (Night 1 -- should be normal)
Sept 11-13, (Day 2 -- should be normal)
Sept 13-14, (Night 2 -- should be normal)
Sept 14-16, (Day 3 -- should be normal)
Sept 16-18 (Night 3 -- 24 hour extension, its just simpler that way)
Sept 18-20 (Day 4 -- will likely be normal, but chance my ability to process EoD will be delayed)
Night 4 and beyond -- Game is still going??????

There's nothing vote-worthy about Gikkle's first post, and voting him without commenting on the actual game-relevant thing he's done (naked voting Nightbringer) is wolfy. Could be w/w with Nightbringer, even, if Ewianking is a bit trigger happy in defending partners.

While I appreciate that you're providing early reads, I also think you're the one being trigger-happy here. This was RVS, and Ewian's post really is your average meaningless MU-flavored intro post. Suggesting this was w/w defense during RVS is silly in my opinion.

In my book, Ewian is in the "did absolutely nothing noteworthy and should start doing stuff soon, or else" bucket; what he said so far simply doesn't count for much. The most meaningful thing he has said is that Brendan has a 33 % chance of being scum (assuming his claim is real), which, while not wrong, is not exactly revolutionary xD.

If there is a reasonable alternative option other than POD that is not just based on lurkers. Then I'd say 90% chance. There is a timing factor as well, it's not EOD right now and I'm open to alternatives, I just stated my starting point.

Now that it's day2, I'll say that I suspected MM is a town Spartacus, which would have made Brendan a 50/50 chance rather than a 1/3. I'll leave it up to him to make the actual claim if he wants to.

I will claim that I am a slave to avoid any confusion.

As far as I know, this is the first time this setup is used here, might be other setups that are similar that I'm not aware of. Thus don't know who won. And didn't think you actually wanted an answer due to it being a newish setup. (And yes, I missed the post where you asked if I missed the questions until now)

Seeing that you are not a regular on this site, I'll answer your unspoken question. This game was labeled annual reunion game not for its setup returning but for returning players of this site to play FM together again.


So it was an interesting night. Got the kneejerk reactions I was expecting from certain people, now need to narrow it down. I'd be willing to vote Brendan but for the sake of having multiple options, I'll keep my pressure on ewianking for the time being since nothing has changed in his regard, I'll be around all day to change my vote if needed.

SJs grace period has expired and is now in my bottom 4 as well.

Brendan wants to hear from me..... Do I need a megaphone? I've been doing most of the talking since the start, what do you want to hear? Your accusation on me sounds like a low effort echo of MMs earlier post trying to buddy up with a reputable player.

As far as I know, never. Pretty sure Martin just made the setup. There have been Roman-themed games in the past (such as one about Jesus and Pilate or something), but that was before my time, which means it does not exist ;)

Ehh, I guess it can be seen that way too. It's not a big deal anyway. I still wouldn't play that way, but it's not entirely otherworldly. It is still noteworthy, however. I'm just happy that he's basically driving the discussion for now. If he starts being scummy while doing this, we can get rid of him later, but I'd say he's helpful, hence my lowering of the pressure here.
