A lot of the time I feel like it's been bad communication from my end holding me back from reading you.

a lot of this comes down to thinking the setup doesn't make much sense for chemist/invest/ikarus' role to all be on the same team. the role ikarus had isn't like a roleblocker or redirect where it's not a positive impact on village half the time because it's a role that villagers will just know to not use it. It being in the hands of the wolves makes sense for an invest role because if claimed or found then it can be changed. it only balances things out if used .

Tailor could be the counter to invest which could make sense but it's only a 1 shot and I don't believe that it's been used. I had tinfoil on it being used on PoD but then i realized there's no n1 and pod was simply just a villager

A redirect could be the final balancing aspect but some of you seem under the impression that redirect would be seen as a redirect, but i don't know where people are getting this idea. The investigator will get results as if he targeted his target, just with different alignments, so if MM is a beguiler then he can hide behind vittae or me and death will get the results as if he didn't.
