Idk how it is where you guys live, but here WD40 is by far the most popular - I just always presumed that it's because it's the best.

The argument that the fluids couldn't do their job at optimum because it wasn't done over several hours applying multiple times - I think it's irrelevant because when you need it, you'll rarely have so much spare time. Even that 1 hour was unrealistic imo.

Just thought it interesting.

WD40 has been good enough for any application I have needed it for. I think a more down to earth test would have put WD40 in greater light but the test done in the video makes sense for simplicity.

well maybe it's everywhere cuz it's cheaper, hence why it's not as good. or maybe it's just marketing. but like rumox said it seems to do the job for the standard use-cases of a normal person
