TBH i think this guy was wasted IRL and was trying to make a sheriff claim against the triad he found to get town credit. But he revealed himself as auditor. So then he doubles down and intentionally plays against his win condition.

An auditor is not obligated to side with or help other non-town. But comments like "town MVP here" show that he was playing against his win condition and trying to lose.
