I just went and double checked but no role in the game has any information at the start of the game that the rest of us wouldn't have? i cant take this scum team thing seriously whatsoever. It seems you have just thrown a read into the air and is hoping it sticks. maybe a very early move to get a mislynch? But with that you dont support day one lynches so is your vote simply pressure at this point or do you legitimately think that me or voss should be lynched today?

Good howdy folk i have arrived! From looking at this games Setup of 6 Towns, 2 Scum. 3 Citizens and 3 Potential TPRs. I say potential because i am pretty sure those Hidden Patriots can be citizens although it would be nice for Magaroth to confirm Can hidden patriots be citizens?


Now i have only skim read through the setup and their are 12 Roles that can be either Patriot or Loyalists.
4 of the roles, those being Snitch, Armoursmith, Gunsmith and Citizen can only be Patriots.
1 of the roles, it being Blacksmith can only be Loyalists.

From looking within the TPR selection and in particular the Investigative roles we have 3 (although if another investigative role is there please do say) The Invest, The Lookout and the Detective. Now its safe to say we have at least one of these due to the big b a l a n c e. Whichever one we do have we need to remember that no investigative role reveals alignment, even the snitch only reveals role. This means that we need to be very careful about TPR claims, 12/15 TPRS could be either scum or town and we have no way to find their alignment besides logic and scum hunting which means we cant just hold out on TPR claims or TPR Counter claims or whatever and hope for Invests to find out because its very possible for a Scum and Town to have the exact same role.

Thats all i have for now I am gonna place a vote on stealth because random early pressure votes so people actually chat is u s e f u l

Hell no, a mass claim would be a horrendous idea, if anything i was saying the opposite. Because 12/15 TPR roles can also be held by scum we should be wary about any claim that comes out. I was mainly just noting my thoughts down.

Right and I suppose that's your right as a player to do so. I suppose the main point you're making is that claims should hold near-zero weight in contrast to scum-hunting?

You must feel that this would be an acceptable town-sided way of approaching such discussions should they arise EoD. And that placing that information in the game thread which can be referenced later (as opposed to your personal out-of-game-notes) would also be town-sided.

Now, perhaps I'm inferring that you're setting the ground work to push for a mis-lynch at EoD if a TPR claim arises. Perhaps you'll think I'm scum-painting you.

But to be honest, it's reasonable that you were simply posting your thoughts after all.

I'm just always curious about the genesis of thought when it comes to early game posts. I have no reason to scum-read one that is, by all means, true.
