The awkward moment when you realize at the end that as the Doctor, you healed a mafioso, saved that same person from lynching out of compassion and convinced the town not to lynch him, convinced the town to lynch the Jester instead by accident, and then found out the next day that the person you've been healing really was the Mafia. Edit: On topic. The most awkward moment was also when I was a jailor and we jailed the same guy. We were so confused. Next day my jailor buddy died. Town invest asked for my role. So I had no choice but to claim jailor. Idiot town put me on trial for not believing me. The guy I jailed didn't stand up for me...

Most awkward moment was when I was in a game with 2 jailers (myself one of them). Apparently on night 1 we chose to jail each other. He was the jailer and I was the victim, however. I assume that was because his name was higher on the list, not sure how the game decides priority there.

I told him I was jailer and tried to jail (player X). He didn't say anything about player X being him, so I didn't know until the next night when I went ahead and jailed player X and he's like "Holy shit, dude! There really IS two jailers! I thought you were full of shit!" Then I wrecked Mob while he wrecked town... and then invest got me lynched as they were SURE I was the only jailer (despite 4 kills on only 3 killable nights) and town thought I was jail trolling. Was an interesting game.

I'm glad I could make playing Mafia as awkward as possible for you .

If it makes you feel any better, my awkward moment would be when the Doctor told me that if I was lying they'd be incredibly pissed off at me after the game.

Haha, something similar *just* happened to me. Before the game started, I was host (as Escaho) and another player named Domino commented on the "eat babies" setup.

I noticed someone chose my name "Escaho" as their mafia name, so I chose "Domino."

I attempted to jail Orange on night 1, but was jailed instead. My first comment was, "Oh, you have GOT to be kidding me," and the other jailor smiled and laughed. I said I was jailor, trying to jail orange. I told him we should work together (hoping he would trust me). I asked what his name was and he said "Domino." So I assumed that he was me and I was him.

Night 2, I jailed Oj and protected him from death. He claimed Sheriff and said red was mafia. Next morning, SK kills red, who was indeed mafia.

From then on, I take over and direct the entire town to victory while receiving PMs (from the other jailor) and successfully preventing the lynch of the other jailor by vouching for him (but never once revealing my role).

It was so awkward at first, but by the end, out of 14 roles, 3 mafia dead, 1 sk dead, 1 neutral dead and only 2 town dead. 'Twas a great game.
