see look. removing the head banging is causing leave trains. who's bad idea was this?

These reactions seem to support the idea that Bestmas just stirs up trouble and encourages bad behavior from community members -- talking about staff hacking / abuse, threatening leave trains, etc.

I got some good feedback on Bestmas. I activated it this evening. The first responses were:

Oh dear fire
What is this
it's burning down
awesome

during the night sequence I asked them to post in their lw whether they liked bestmas mode or not. I asked at night and asked for the responses to be in the lw as to not distract from the game. These were the responses I got:

I like Bestmas - sound could be reduced
Bestmas is decent
Firemode is cool as you mom
Bestmas 7/10 thunder gets annoying

I was agree with the 2 points made. The thunder does get annoying and the music volume could be reduced.

Then at the end I gave 5 points to all and thanked them for playing Bestmas. I received these responses:

@Tossangel , thanks for sharing but can you at least upload/attach the replay too?

Also FWIW, I've had several games with this bestmas - think I have a bunch of replays I can add where people express their dislike, would have to look. Around Christmastime when it was always active, anyway.

Here's the actual replays I found (why am I the only uploading them?) - they all happened on Christmas. I stopped playing because the game was too disorienting, was literally giving me motion sickness. Two first games - players definitely expressed their dislike on this mode, got to the point where people started griefing and gamethrowing. Third game isn't much but I was Arsonist, had witch help me out by getting the mafioso to shoot himself in the end lol, although the interrogator jailed #1 and #1 said the game was giving him motion sickness. Bunch of stuff there. Definitely still some merit.

Yeah we wanted to do this to see how the reaction is now that the shaking is gone. I'll have to say though that I'm a bit disappointed that nobody here seems to actually care about uploading the replays which is partly what this thread is for.

Yeah. I was under the assumption the shaking wasn't removed - which was what I outlined in the conversation so far. With it gone, I guess it's still not much of a problem; however I do agree that it's still showing off, makes games different, etc. - not encouraging normal games as they should.

I haven't played any bestmas games since Christmas so I can't really say much >.<
