    Role: Electro Maniac - Polarity Shift

    Hello, guys! Have you ever played World of Warcraft, raided Naxxramas, and encountered Thaddius there? That boss was one of my sources of inspiration!
    This time I present you a new revision of Electro Maniac - Polarity Shift!

    Role name: Electro Maniac
    Description: A crazy scientist, who is obsessed with the electricity.
    Alignment: Neutral/Evil
    Abilities: Picks a player every night. His target will receive positive polarity (+) or negative polarity (-) of Electro Maniac's choice. If target is already polarized, he can change his polarity, or come in contact with him if he is polarized himself.
    Special: If a charged player visits another person who has the different polarity as him (+and- or -and+), they both become electrocuted and die. If a charged player visits another person who has the same polarity as him (+and+ or -and-), they become hypercharged and receive night immunity.
    Electro Maniac can also put a polarity charge on himself, or change his current polarity. If he visits target with different polarity or someone with different polarity visits him, (+and- or -and+), then player who contacted with Electro Maniac's polarity will die. If Electro Maniac visits target with same polarity as his, or someone with same polarity visits him (+and+ or -and-), they both become hypercharged and gain the night immunity to regular attacks.
    Goal: Kill everyone else who opposes you.
    Host Options:
    Victim will know that they are charged ON/OFF
    Victim will know the exact type of polarity ON/OFF
    The polarity stays on players even after Electro Maniac is dead. ON/OFF
    Ignores healing ON/OFF
    Ignores night immunity ON/OFF

    The default option - Target knows that he is charged, but they doesn't know what kind of polarity they have.


    By using this option, charged players will know that they are charged, but they doesn't know the type of charge. If two charged players come in contact, they may both die - or may receive hypercharge and immunity from regular night attacks. Note that players can still die from polarity effects even if they are hypercharged.

    For example, Players A and B both have (+), while player C have (-). Player A visits player B (both becomes hypercharged), and at the same night, player C visits player A (while player B does not visit C). In the end of night, both player A and player C die, while player B remains alive and still protected from regular shots.


    So? What is your current polarity towards Electro Maniac now? Positive or negative?

    I have to add that this version of the Electro Maniac wouldn't work on SC2 Mafia, but for Forum Mafia it's perfectly fine.

    The reason it can't fit into SC2 Mafia is because it would require a special user interface or some combination of buttons and chat commands to handle the different polarity types. And the mechanics would require too much in-game explanation. The old Electro Maniac was better suited for SC2 Mafia.
