Will pause-trolling ever be punishable by the mods?

I get a good laugh from pausefests, they almost make me have heart attacks. Before you start thinking that I'm an overweight American...I'm Canadian. I have weighted 160 lbs ever since 1998 (which was grade , and I have a superior metabolism. But the times I've had to leave my chair and lie on the ground because my stomach hurt from laughing...oh boy.

Why isn't pausing a listed crime?

Why should the mods care, people like you will spend 2 weeks tops on this game and then move on to bigger and better trolling.

Nah, I like being able to squeeze between cars in parking lots. The best time to pause a game is either during the first day discussion...or during a sniper execution LOL

its not really funny to pause in-game anymore unless your trying to be annoying. why should it be punishable anyways?

I frown on pause trolling, but it doesn't break any rules. And since it is limited to 3 per person, it doesn't usually matter.

But as a mod, I usually send out a warning to those doing it. But never kick.

i think all mods do, or majority atleast. goon has warned me for being an asswipe pauser before. its only funny when everyone else pauses it on purpose.

The trick to pause trolling isn't to spend all your pauses in a row.

You pause the game and then you wait just long enough to unpause it yourself to hope that someone else chimes in with an un-pause that actually re-pauses it.

This is actually one of the best games to troll that I've seen. It's easy and effective.

Oh I know all about the unintentional pauses, from those who are spamming the key to DISABLE my pause.

It's good that the race is stuck on Terran...Terran "game paused/resumed" sounds so much funnier than the Protoss or Zerg "game paused/resumed"

That doesn't work if they are mashing the 'u' key in the game menu. Quick fix to pauses.

I tell people to not pause the game, if they continue and they are dead they get kicked. Normally sends the message quickly.
