I want to be in a community that welcomes me for what I have to offer. I feel like I'm still not wanted (although only by a few), and it's a shame after all of the years and effort I put into the site and the mod.

I want to make sure I wouldn't be hindering anyone else before I commit to rejoining the community full force.

If those are your genuine feelings, you'd be better off taking it up with the people themselves, privately, rather than publicizing it. Of course, it's not my place to tell you what to do, but I can say what is the case. And it is the case that these kinds of threads make the forums more "toxic" in general.
