Here's a trick (cheat) for ppl who want sneak. Go to high hrothgar, find one of those greybeards praying. Go behind them and turn on sneak mode and take out a dagger. Stab away. Farm sneak. Just don't let them catch you or they will shout you to death :/ Doing this doesn't add a bounty
More fun trick: Valtheim. There's a cliff you can shoot them from, and it was basically made to easily sneak through.
Lazers are you the one who was addicted or the one who was trying to help?

Picked up Skyrim 4 days ago, can't put it down. Only delayed buying it because I had so many things to take my attention during the holidays (and still do) that I wanted to save my time to no life Skyrim. Still find time to play mafia mostly every day but man, this game gets my blood pumping. It's funny cause I hated Oblivion...lol
Why play skyrim when you can punch trees in minecraft?
Hooray, one of the first posts I don't want to punch you in the face for!
Oblivion was a fantastic game. I remember watching tech videos for it for months ahead of release. Everyone hates on Oblivion for many reasons, but people seem to forget that this was the first game to have Radiant AI. Even the developers were stunned. One tester was in a room full of weapons and had a skeleton constantly respawning when it died so he could test how weapons impacted on the physics. After a few deaths the Skeleton got pissed off, picked up an Axe, and killed the tester Oh and speaking of physics, it was basically the first open world game to have such an amazing physics engine. No other game had tried to pull that off with so many objects, there were baguettes and bears rolling down hills and you could rattle chains in dungeons, awesome.
But when compared to Morrowind it left a sour taste in my mouth. Morrowind had lots more useless generic NPCs, but it was so much bigger than Oblivion. There was no fast travel, except from designated taxi spots (only in the major cities), and just travelling somewhere was a scary and exciting prospect. Morrowind was just more... Alien. Humans were a minority, and there weren't things like carrots and onions. All the wild animals were fascinating, and Skooma was in abundance. Hooray for Dren's Plantation, which had a drug cartel running out of it and kickass Glass armour to steal.
Skyrim is amazing obviously, though sometimes I'm a little disappointed that it's still so... human. I want Elder Scrolls VI to be set in the Black Marsh, but it will probably be set in High Rock

I seem to be one of the mainstream resistant people. I played Skyrim 3 hours in the last 2 weeks
I played it 0 hours in the past 2 weeks :P SWTORRRRRRRR

I didn't buy swtor. Didn't really convince me.
Haha, I have no problem NOT playing it, I just usually play a maximum of two games at a time then move on. And I agree with you Luna. Oblivion was groundbreaking and visually at the time it was like genius but I just didn't have FUN playing it for some reason. It was the first Elder Scrolls game I played when it first came out but I didn't enjoy it and found myself getting plain frustrated and scared while playing. Didn't like it, whereas in Skyrim there's still a sense of fear like i had in Oblivion but I feel epic doing it, not just swinging for my life. I think the whole world of Skyrim is more majestic though with the snow and the mountains, but Oblivion had fire and evil shit yelling at you, not my cup of tea.
Anyone playing Dawnguard, the new skyrim expansion that just came out?
It's cool because you can become a vampire lord
or you can choose to be a vampire hunter and fight against the vampires
either way you get new quests and stuff
