And to say it has to have everyone skip for nighttime is to expect the impossible. There will never be a time where ever person in the game skips, save maybe late late game when there are 3 people left in the game.

i'm still for it, if you cant have in unaimous, jsut have it that for each person that skips the timeframe gets cut shorter but can be below a cartain timeframe

At end game it could work actually where there is 2-3-4 left. But for others you will hardly get %100 vote. Still even for 1 night every game it will worth it. But only with %100 vote pls not even %99

Set the night duration permanently to 30 seconds. No more, no less.

If anyone thinks night ever needs to be longer than 30 seconds, you suck at this game.

what would be a better option would be a hyperversion preset, where day trial discussion and night-length are much faster than usual
ex 30 second night, minute day 30 second discussion and trial

it would be easier for experience players to remake settings faster after updates
however, I think hyper mafia would only be available if the majority or all of the lobby has over a base amount of points (ex 1k) or games played

Newbies don't need to chat in night anyway. They need to shut up. Most fail hard to spies. Day chat is 1,000,000,000,000x more important than night chat. About the only purpose night chat as maf/tri serves anymore is to anti-spy (i.e. fool the fool).

For all who says 30 sec is enough is so wrong. Sometimes even 130 sec is not enough to consider and read logs or even a conversation with a jailed/kidnaped person. If everybody was talking at night i would make my saves night lengt to 120 sec but ofc many role is not doing anything not even clicking a button so 40 sec is what i use.

Anyways i don't get " xen, you forget that not everyone is as experienced with this game" what you tried to say here? If they dont know how to use "-skip" others can tell them. At worst case this "-skip" wont be used in 2 or 3 game per 20 game or when people think they should not skip.

I think %100 vote need for night "-skips" is what we can have best, all other solutions also brings some limitations.
