Re: A question about the history of the mafia community.

I think, according to history, "trolls" to the degree of Necroplant, usually start as very good players. The story was the same with Archangel and Burnteskimo. All three of them were solid players, usually desiring non-town roles.

Typically, mis-moderation is the biggest cause, according to "trolls", which is understandable as well. When someone feels wronged by someone else, retaliation is most often expected. As this the case: when a player feels he is wronged by the moderation, a player becomes a problem. When someone feels he was shunned and punished, given little to no chance to defend himself against accusation, especially vs. those with traits such as apathy and ineptitude... rises the "troll", hence, someone who acquires spite vs. apathy and ineptitude, causing distress to others, to the community as a whole.

But then, there are players like Tankboy and the "geth" skyping/gamethrowers, who don't really play the game and just abuse the systems of both Blizzard's interface and the custom game itself... I have no idea why they do what they do. Maybe they died n1 too many times and went sour.

When we talked about pubs, we are talking about us.
When they talked about pubs, they exclude themselves.
They say only bad players want to modify citizens, and they do not satisfy bad players.
Are we bad players? We include bad players, but that is just a part of us.
---They put veteran, mayor, allowed jester to visit for nothing, and they regretted and say those things are brainless.

A good portion of our heavy trolls started destroying games to hurt the staff (I have no idea where the logic in that is) and it turned into a hobby. I only wish more people tried to get them to stop. From my recent necroplant experience most of their issues are misunderstands.

I think its a cry for help from the ones that never had an issue. Negative attention is better than no attention and if its all you know how to get.. Those types of trolls deserve your pitty. Not your anger.

Psychology is important. Me and Necro had great games but he became distant little by little.

Poverty brew terrorism, but what brew trollism?

(ignore the catholism stuff if offended.)

This is unfortunate. Was he then involved in the demise of JIHAD? The group fell apart quicker than expected once the crackdown on organic members took place?
