Hello and welcome to the SC2 Mafia Complaints Forum.



As the volume of complaints has increased since the launch of patch 1.4 and the watch lists, we have a lot of complaints to filter through so in order to make our job easier we ask that you follow this Template.

Complaints that do not follow this template in future may not be actioned.



We ask that before you make a complaint that you:

1: Try to work out the issue in game. If the player did something wrong against their knowledge save the drama and solve it at the source
2: Remember people are human and they do make mistakes. All Moderators included often times can over react and do things we regret. Cut your fellow mafia players some slack.



Preventing Duplicate Threads:

Before you create a thread, use the search function located: https://www.thecouncilofmages.com/for...action=search2 to see if the person you are about to report has been reported for the same action before. Just put their name in and hit search... anything that comes up as "Complaints /" is another complaint about the same person (check ID codes obviously). Posting in the same thread allows us to consolidate evidence and with multiple different reports on the same person, we can deal harsher penalties.

If that search does not come up with anything, follow the following guidelines when making a report:



Thread Title:

Please make sure your region, the crime, and the players name/ID code are in this title.
The Region should be bracketed.

The Players ID code is visible at the start of every replay.

Example of Good Title: [NA] Game Thowing, Elixir 1-S2-1-9001
Example of Bad Title: confirmed cheter in game pls ban



Body:

An accurate description of what the offending player did. The more information you can gather the better.



Supporting Evidence:**

This is the most important:

ALL COMPLAINTS SUBMISSIONS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A REPLAY.

Screenshots will not suffice. Complaints without replays make it very difficult for us to take any action. Please ensure you use the attachment command at the bottom of the post to attach a replay. If you dont see it appear when you make your post it means you have less than 10 posts on the forum and a Moderator needs to approve the attachment, which we aim to do very quickly.

Amendment 1: Issues of Lag Chat related cheating should be accompanied by a Screenshot of Lag Chat as well as a replay, as the replay doesn't show Lag Chat.
