i have yet to see rules where if you know a com, you can use it. COM claiming or deliberate hunting is usally against rules.

when i play m-fms and fms i usally notice some ppls coms based off their play stlye without hunting

but more seriously: i think its sometimes good to use, i find it usefull when people do giant walls of text or wall reads type things.

for smaller post i do find it not really anoyying, but more pointless and work

i will do it when needed, i dont use it very often if you have noticed. i know other players tend to do it quite often. i find it more fun to post outside short posts. but when its massive (ie fm 19 where people had shit loads of huge walls of text) its easier to highlight and post in it.
