Actually since I get auto kicked from games until Raptor fixes my points, I technically count myself as banned.

If a player, publicly steaming, rolls mafia all of that team is revealed.
If he rolls scum in a single scum game, the game is over before it begins.
If he rolls any role at all that has any impact on the game it destroys that roles aspect upon the game.

Oh for fuck's sake, nobody is going to stream snipe for Mafia. Rules for games are supposed to help that game be fun and having streaming being against the rules when it isn't a problem at all is just stomping on fun.

Show me because I don't believe you. Like, maybe a couple people abusing it who can subsequently be banned under intentionally using the information (you ban the people sniping). A widespread problem? I doubt it.

However its basic definition is a widespread problem.

The guy streamed, played many games a day and spammed every lobby and game with the link to his stream. It went on for awhile and we didn't think much of it at first, but more and more people kept reporting it saying people would go onto his stream and games, especially when he was mafia, blatantly cheat off it.

It's still releasing alot of valuable information, 10 seconds or not will end the game.

It's not like anyone will throw a fit because they couldn't watch an SC2 mafia game live like some kind of esports competition

I think it's a legitimate question, and two dots doesn't add very much to the conversation.

As to the question, I think it has a lot to do with actually being able to influence the player playing. Writing to him in the stream chat, and then seeing/hearing his response. Especially in a game like Mafia, I think people would be itching to give their two cents, just like most of us are during death chat.

Simply watching a game after, means it has to have more entertainment value, since you'll want to know what you can expect, where as livestreaming, often comes with unexpected content, and as I said earlier interaction with the streamer.
