You're merely biased you fool. I would let the people of this forum thread know that it was Mr. 0zymandias here that came across this thread and told me of it, prompting my response. I wouldn't take his word with an sincerity, as his knowing me would be biased, essentially making this a form of astroturfing without my consent, which, now that I think about it, doesn't even make it astroturfing then? But he's biased and he only told me of this thread and then he proceeded to post...Ah fuck it I only had 5-hours of sleep I'm going to bed.

First and foremost:

This is a bad poll. The definition of "troll" is very skewed from player to player.

For example:

tiloup + tankboy + dman = game-ruining, lobby-stalling, force-lagging, newb trash
necroplant + archangel + oneno = annoying
strifen = still too young to tell

The votes will be merely a reflection of each voters definition of "troll".

Every time Cryptonic types something and I read, I either completely agree and/or laugh. Always so accurate...

My take would be:

Necroplant
Hosts pointless cygx-like (i.e. "troll") setups, pauses a lot, names himself "NECRO KING OF... [whatever]" every game, spams in caps regardless of role, votes against his faction, and generally sucks ass as a useful player.

tiloup
Fills lobbies preventing game start, spams, sucks, and is an overall dumb ass as a player.

oneno
Typical pub-like player, i.e. failor, gayor, cocktor, afker, etc. and pauses like Necro. But he's bipolar; some days he's legitimate and not bad, some days he's not.

Archangel
This kid knows Mafia well and can type fast (fast-typing is very powerful in SC2 for "trolling"--which is why newbs and fools call me a "troll", "gamethrower", "griefer", "hacker", "cheater", "skyper", etc.). Last year, IH games with him, Spartan, Shothar, several others who don't play anymore were a hell of a lot of fun, very competitive and legitimate. Archangel was always useful to his faction, because he played much like I usually do (which is with a lot of energy and with relatively the same character for each role) in a very self-sacrifical and baiting manner (more of a 'facilitator-like' player for his team rather than a tree stump who waits for just the right lucky moment of logic to reveal information (like a lot of quiet invs and shers do if they are lucky enough to not get random-killed)). I've always respected his LEGITIMATE style; I play very similarly and it's effective with the right intentions and with players who catch on to the style and use it to their advantage. By drawing attention to yourself, you save others, especially more important roles, and buy more time for your faction to do what it wants/needs to effectively. "Trolling" in-game using it as a tactic for your role/faction's cause is powerful and he was good at it. He simply got burnt out and decided to become the type of "troll" who gamethrows, troll hosts, etc.. But "back then", I'd say, in SC2 Mafia, Archangel was CLEARLY the most infamous in-game "troll".

This kid has no life, much like Zenolate and the other lobby stallers. He also tries to get host every game and creative a game with all Arsonists, Jesters, and Veterans every time. When his host is repicked, he says the same "CHOO CHOO LEAVE TRAIN... blah blah" statements and, in my experience he doesn't leave (I've never seen him leave). He stays and the Town goes on a hunt to lynch Tankboy. I've gotten Jester a few times when he's in game and I name myself "Tankboy" and type like him (i.e. "niggers", "faggots", etc. and type a little slower and separated using line breaks). It's d1 or d2 Jester win every time. I have noticed that when I join lobbies he's stalling, he'll usually stop inviting. I think he felt honored or something that I was using his name for quick Jester wins since so many players hate him.

I agree with what Cryptonic said here. He's a good modern-day troll. I haven't seen him do lowlife shit that has nothing to do with the actual game or fair tactics like force lag or lobby stall. I noticed he's listed on watchlist or KV, but I never -kick anyone no matter what after my disheartening experience on KV from Landstander's bloody tampon. I haven't played much with him though, he's usually always partied and if one of them don't get host, they all leave.

I just revised that after remembering who he was. I thought about it for a second and all the flashing lag screens in games with 1-second = 5-seconds timers.

In my opinion, Bruno is the best legitimate in-game tactical "troll" I've encountered. I'd vote myself, but I've lost a lot of passion ever since getting stuck on KV all that time and after the addition of the MM and lame ass revisions so-called "more intuitive" that ruined my perfect setup template that I used for almost a year where I could quickly edit according to the players' suggestions (I always let the players choose which 2 determined neus they want in addition to the random neu ben if someone types it within 15 seconds).

Being entirely humble though, disregarding this particular person's mod-corruption, Ambient is pretty good for his style as well. I've always seen him play every role well and patiently, and with "troll" roles, he uses "troll logic" (which I really respect--BurntEskimo and HoboKing were good at this as well). I haven't seen him in a game in months now though, and last time I did, I was GF and obliterated his town by "trolling" where I said I was skyping with so-so and cheating and gonna gamethrow and fuck Ambient, etc..--was pretty effective and Ambient seemed to get a kick out of the player's in limbo since he was defending me as a "troll" and using his mod messaging telling players I'm "just trolling". He then called me a "fail troll" at the end when I spared the surv on the last night like I said I would... I always stick to my word for those who help speed up my win.

TheBESTicle is a hell of a tactical "troll" as well. He's very clever, adaptive, and quick-witted. The most creative games I've ever played were with him in it. Me vs. him when it comes to trying to get things to go our way using the town is always a toss-up. Sometimes they go with him, sometimes they go with me; either way, it's always a lot of fun and manipulative.
