Why YOU are trollbait

There are a few people in this community whom I troll on a regular basis. This message is to them.

Let me make one thing clear; there is literally only 1 person in this community whom I genuinely dislike and troll for that reason & I've made that very VERY abundantly clear to them. The other people I have made a habit of trolling regularly get it because they'retrollbait.

What is trollbait?
Trollbait is a very simple concept: someone who it's fun to troll. Generally, someone is trollbait in my eyes because of how they react to the trolling. One person who I troll reacts in such a volatile manner that it's almost comical sometimes. This makes me & other people whom are witnessing said trolling LOL.
Another reacts almost as negatively as the first person but with less explosion and more of a simmering and festering frustration. This, too, makes us LOL.

How can I tell if I'm trollbait?
Well, it's not so easy in this community. Trolling is rampant around these parts; everyone gets trolled and everyone trolls once in a while. Trolling is a fact of life around SC2mafia... it's something that has been embraced by this community as a legitimate social interaction and, in some cases, a legitimate display of friendly affection. Those who are considered trollbait, however, can be distinguished in some ways. For instance, if when I see someone connect to Skype and I immediately spam something derogatory about them... they're trollbait. If there's a common theme when I troll a particular person... they're trollbait. If I openly throw insults at you which contain just enough venom to sting someone of slightly thinner skin... you are trollbait. If I openly make personal attacks against you I just legitimately dislike you and wish you would stop posting on the forums all together (again, one person and it's abundantly clear to them... if you're wondering if I'm talking about you then I'm not talking about you.)

What do I do if I'm trollbait?
At this point, there's not much you can do except try to see the humor in everything. Why would it be funny to make someone ragequit a skype chat by spamming phallic objects at them ? Why would it be funny to get withering glares from someone on a regular basis? Think about it from our perspectives. I honestly LOL when I'm the butt of other peoples' jokes assuming they're legitimately funny (e.g. DR's dick-centered martial arts) and I feel a lot of you people would do well to develop that same coping mechanism. When you can laugh at what you look like through someone else's eyes then you've become comfortable in your own skin & that is an awesomely empowering thing.


Oh, and you really are a brown noser. Just saying. It's funny to me, so don't stop because I make fun of you for it.
