Varcron takes command of the town and asks for roles and lws. I am the survivor in this game, but am working to help town win (In my opinion survivor is much easier to win with when you actively help town since you're NI the first four nights, and by night 5 evils usually can't spare a kill on you)
I recognized the green highlighted Mayor name as one that JOOYOUNG uses, so seeing a player as experienced as him take command of the town wasn't surprising to me and I encouraged town to take 6 on as the town's leader, not even realizing myself that Varcron had disguised as 6.
13 - Witch Doctor - Billy the Rapper (Billy, 430 points) is blackmailed and is trialed first. He leaves right before the vote count comes in, but the vote count was 5-3, with Varcron casting an inno vote, town gets to trial another player.
7 - Detective - Vincentio (Paradox, 42.3k points) is trialed next and Varcron again commands for an inno verdict.
Town pushes for 4 to be trialed causing 4 to reveal as Mayor. The day ends with no lynch, but the Witch Doc left the game.

With all the towns roles Varcron shares them with the mafia and they elect to bus driver, assuming he'll be busy protecting mayor.

The Mayor very quickly pushes 12 - Blackmailer - Orazio Rossi (BallsSoup, 9.5k points) to a trial where everyone votes guilty except then Godfather and the Survivor who abstain.

4, 8, and 11 are all confirmed not-mafia. The mafia should ideally target one of them, but 4 is untouchable due to 15 healing them as doc, and 8 is survivor which would be a wasted shot in a sense. So they kill the only confirmed non-mafia player remaining in 11 - Investigator - Mr. Failure Rate (Ulala, 22.7k points)

9's suspicious voting patterns and the fact that he's one of the few "unconfirmed" players gets him trialed immediately by mayor. He is unanimously lynched by everyone except the survivor. During the discussion 7 is cleared as most likely not mafia for how hard he went after the blackmailer.

Mafia is in a very difficult situation.
If they kill the detective then it clears 15 as the detective has seen 15 visit the Mayor.
They can't kill the mayor because the doctor is healing them.
If they kill 15 then it will be very difficult to compete with the 7's detective last will.
Arguably the best move here would be to shoot the survivor which has been helping town - especially since at this point in time I was still fooled by 6 and even included a note in my last will saying 15 should be mafia (although 7 could have cleared 15, and the survivor is the least threat to mafia, so offing the survivor is also a risky strategy)
It seems like there are no good options, so Varcron holds his shot in order to sow more confusion

At this point in time with no vig shots since the disguiser jump I realized what had happened (and updated my lw the next night accordingly in the event that mafia tried to kill me in the night), but as I was a neutral faction, I wanted to see town figure it out - Varcron had me fooled the majority of the game, could he fool the rest?
The day passes with no lynch, and 7 is pushing for the vig to shoot to prove that he is vig.

With 7 pushing for vig shots Varcron has no choice but to shoot 7 - Detective - Vincentio (Paradox, 42.3k points)

Varcron immediately defends his lack of shots by claiming that he would have thrown if he had shot (although this is technically not true, whether or not it is true doesn't actually matter, he just has to convince the mayor that it's true)
15 had been cleared by the detective so the mayor decides to trial the survivor claim. I explain why 6 is the disguiser and that town auto-loses with a mislynch here - but Varcron prevails and sways the Mayor and Doctor. The survivor is lynched - Mafia shoots the doctor the next night and wins the 1v1 tiebreak against the mayor the following day.

During my last words I tell town they lost the game for themself - although this sells Varcron's performance short - he had EVERYONE fooled as the disguiser for days 3 to 6, and I was the only one that realized what was going on during Day 7 with the rest of the town still being fooled. And this lobby was not a lobby of new players - the only new player alive at the end was 15 - Doctor - Jo (HydraBisque, 173 points). The surviving Mayor, has 6.8k points. The detective that died Night 7 had 42.3k points, the investigator that died night 5 has 22.7k points.
The mafia had a particularly difficult game with neutral randoms being either strictly anti-mafia, or playing as such. The NK was lynched before they had any kills. And not to put down Varcron's teammates, but their defenses weren't particularly strong despite having been given all the town's info during night chat by Varcron.
Another major reason that I think this was an MVP performance is that there was really very little luck working in Varcron's favor. He pulled off a strong disguiser play day 2 noticing the low spy and escort chances, got lucky with his target happening to be vig that found NI, and that little bit of luck was all he needed to lead his faction to victory.
