Last time this happened multiple people reported the map as stolen and it got a long term issue 'hacker' main account perma banned from Blizzard. I am not sure how things have changed in recent years but they do take the idea of reposting maps a little too seriously. I had a friend get permission to Xpost a map from NA to EU from the dev and he got perma banned from EU for doing so.

Long story short- Report the map and shit will probably happen.

    -edit
make sure to mention it was taken without the developers permission and tell others who take issue with the lobby splits to report it as well.

As much as the moderation team there bothers me I do not really hate MU. As a concept the championships and attempt to build a central location of knowledge is a really beautiful thing I strongly support. Its just sad the global community so vocally condemns the individuals using it as a platform to exercise power over the community instead of being in service to them. One thing that cracks me up is how many separate people from separate communities was like "I bet it was Amy." I have no fucking clue who this Amy is or what role they played in my ban but holy shit they have a fucked up reputation for executing personal vendettas.

Its also kinda cool how many individuals and communities have reached out to me after the situation. For every persons hate I have received so far there has been an entire community taking me in and sharing some stories about the moderation there.

I don't know if I will ever not want to try my hand at playing against the best someday or sharing my knowledge on a platform set up in such a way but I doubt after my treatment and everything people have shared with me I will ever be able to respect a significant portion of the staff there. I also doubt I will ever let this go and kinda laugh at myself that most of the issues I get this deeply pissed about are fucked up systemic treatment of people, but here I am this mad about some mods on a forum of a nitch video game few people even know exists. I should probably focus more on things that actually matter.

The fact one playstyle exists does not mean the other does not. SC2 is a very 'bus friendly' site while many others are more critical of the behavior.

That is interesting. I had a conversation with Superjack a while back on how Autism is spreading and there is no real effort to find out why. I kinda feel like 100 years from now it will be like how we look at smoking-> cancer now but it will be something else in our lives like preservatives or cell phones or whatever.

For the PC term I am the wrong guy to speak on that subject. I am a social fuck up in many regards : )

    ►►Re: ToS◄◄

I like what ToS has done. For a long time a lot of people demanded that any role that interacts with the dead can not work and would break the game yet they pulled it off. They took DR's format and made it stand alone and made some pretty interesting twists on the roles.

I do feel that the bar for skill is a little lower than what we have on the SC2 mod when I played a few years back but that is to be expected when you have a more open player base. The only thing I took real issue with was that they were launching kickstarters to make more promises before fulfilling the ones they had already made. That kind of practice is what has everyone so upset about ScamCitizen.

I should probably play ToS again someday just to see how things have been tweaked. The devs are also really chill people as well.

Its not really an assumption. I pretty regularly watch a youtube channel called 'Active Self Protection' which does after action breakdowns of situations covering the legal issues of a situation as well as providing evidence based advice. One very common factor is that once people are fighting for their life the fight is usually over long before the cops show up. If you have ever been in or around a fight just think about how long that lasted. Even when my burglar alarm went off at my apartment which was roughly 1.5 miles from the police station they did not show up for around 10 minutes the first time and 45 minutes the second. I actually brought that up to the officer that called me pointing out that they could have literally run to my location faster than they arived.

My point is just that in my personal experience as well as in the things I have seen police intervention is not something to depend on.

In any situation where I sought out their help for anything (such as when my shit got stolen or my car got fucked up and I knew who did it), they did jack shit except write a "report" because they can't be fucked to actually help people. I've never actually heard of a single instance from anyone I know where the police has helped them.

Thats why I can't stand bootlickers who unwaveringly lend their support to the police. I recognize the importance of law and of police unholding law. But the average officer and PD is lazy and can't be fucked to actually do anything. Though it's a clichd thing to say, their duty is to protect the state, not you.
I was thinking about this a bit over the last few days and I kinda think our dislike for police is fundamentally tied to the service they provide in our society. When your neighbor is being too loud having a party you don't want to be 'that guy' who walks up and ruins everyones good time so you send the cops instead. They do the uncomfortable deed for you and they get to be the bad guy. A large portion of the services they provide are in this direction.

I do feel you on their lack of usefulness. Even if there was some instance of violence the cops take time to get there to protect. I can not name a time they have helped me past giving me a police report number for an insurance claim after my truck was broken into; while I can name many times I have had negative interactions and even a few weeks ago felt they were using legal excuses to take money from me.

One critical part someone brought up to me years ago is that nobody has a problem with cops when they are protecting people from other people. Any instance where they are preventing someone from being attacked, robbed, or raped is a positive thing. But as a society we have tons of laws passed that seem to be focused on protecting people from themselves which I believe to be unethical. Should I wear my seatbelt? Sure. But be the fucking dick bag who writes me a ticket for not wearing it and I will disrespect you because who the fuck are you to steal my autonomy from me. I believe I have the fundamental human right to be an idiot and take risks with my safety when it does not hurt anyone.

If you think about how any society sorts itself there are norms, taboos and laws. The laws are suppose to be punishments to enforce extreme taboos but our society no longer follows that. Things like smoking pot are extremely widely accepted yet 'illegal' and also follows the unethical model of 'protecting people from themselves.' Combine those two factors and you basically have cops forcing people to do things nobody has a problem with and that do not harm others which makes their function in society hated. The strange thing though, is we blame them although they do not make these laws. Politicians do. I wonder if people thought about the situation differently the hatred cops receive would be appropriately displaced onto politicians.

There is also the issue that its one of those jobs where doing it right goes unnoticed but you are crucified when its done wrong. Its thankless, dangerous work that gets shit pay so I do have some measure of respect for the people who do it. While my interactions with the police have been negative I have yet to get to know a cop off duty and not gotten along well with them. That might just be a veteran thing though.

@ mag: It's indeed a masonic-ish order. I doubt the star is meant to represent America: first, it's not in the right position (compare with the spoiler).
    Spoiler : American flag :

Secondly and most importantly, the organization is internationalist.
Spoiler : From the link Helz provided :
In 1861, even as seceding states tore the United States apart, a Philadelphiantailor wrote a friend in New York of a dream that occupied his thoughts.‘‘I do not claim to be gifted with the power of prophesy’’, he began, "But I can see ahead of me an organization that will cover the globe. It willinclude men and women of every craft, creed and color: It will cover every raceworth saving. It will come in my time, I hope. Its groundwork will be secrecy, its rule obedience, and its guiding star mutual assistance. It will make laborhonourable and profitable and lessen its burdens; it will make idleness a crime, render wars impossible, and obliterate national lines."
The dreamer was Uriah Stephens, first founding father the Nobleand Holy Order of the Knights of Labor.
Im afraid thats all I have. Most of my time diving into semiotics has been focused on words and language. The time I have messed with symbols has been on the occult and the idea of 'evil.' When I herd the leviathan sigil would bring evil into your life I put it on my phone for 2 months to see what would happen. (Absolutely nothing of note did) There is also this one of an old dude and his reflection that a very old symbol thats suppose to remove barriers between our world and whatever-tha-fuck else but I have not tried that one yet.

    -Edit
I think the world would be a better place if that organization still existed. Although its just as likely it would be corrupted and gamed like everything else in our society these days.

2+ KPN with 4 scum PR and 4 TPR. Town loses majority in 2 days at worst and probably needs some form of protective / kill reversal. Looks balanced enough if you consider town could also win in 2 days at best.

Bulletproof / night immune mechanics could probably counter swing although the setup sounds PR heavy with 10 of 20 roles looking to be either PR or the GF/DH. I would make the PR's limited in their charges or even alternate days they can use abilities or something.

Just so its in 1 location that can be referenced..

1- Get the apps "Coinbase, Trustwallet, and KuCoin"
2- In Coinbase convert $$ to Bitcoin. (Note they put a hold on bank transactions. Mine seem to be 8-10 days)
3- Send the Bitcoin to KuCoin
4- Convert KuCoin to BNB. (You will need to transfer from your main wallet to your trade wallet to do so)
6- Transfer BNB to Trust Wallet
    7- Convert BNB to SmartBNB
8- Convert SmartBNB to SafeMoon. (This one is tricky because you gotta go into your phones web browser and type trust://browser_enable in order to get a browser button on the Trustwallet. Then you can hit the browser in the TrustWallet app and access Pancake to do the swap.)

    -edit
Some people may be able to just buy BNB in TrustWallet so you can skip steps 2-6 but the payment system that handles that rejects me and many others. I only know 1 person that was able to get some through that way and they could only buy little bits at a time.

There is a lot I really want to say but I will bite my tongue for now. I can only say the moderators on that site have made me angry in a way not many things can.

I have spent the last decade and thousands fighting with the VA for them to admit the scars on my face and my teeth being crooked came from me being in Afghanistan on principle even though I will receive no additional medical treatment or benefits of any kind from them doing so. I have spent the last 6 years obsessing over creating a guide for a video game simply because I refuse to quit what I started. I custom negotiated a retainer and started my own class action lawsuit against 3m after understanding they lied about ear plugs and still quarterback that shit. I have spent the last 3 or 4 years working through Whitehouse investigations and FOIA requests related to VA Fraud with a company called LHI just because I found out they submitted essentially blank evaluation forums on 1 vet I was helping.

Just imagine how capable I am as a human being of letting go of someone branding me a bigot while I was discussing the issue systemic racism. There is some very literal irony to that..

Looks relevant. Had this to say on the badge:

“‘‘The symbol of the Outer Veil is a Globe, symbolizing the field of our operation’’, the Sage would inform the neophyte, ‘‘and signifies ‘Universal Organization’’’. The Order’s Great Seal provided similar reinforcement. The Seal shows a partial map of the globe, with the triangle at its centre focused on the Americas but extending towards Australasia. The pentagon surrounding this map represented the ‘‘five races of men’’, from each continent, all looking to the Order for guidance. A secret circular explaining all these symbols, and intended to be read out once a quarter year in every Local Assembly, left little room for misinterpretation.”

“Figure 2. The Great Seal of the Knights of Labor. In some versions of this symbol the triangle at
the centre extends to a series of small islands to the west, most likely representing Australia. The
date below the pentagon refers to the Order’s first General Assembly. ‘‘A.K. the 9th’’ refers to
the Adelphon Kruptos, the secret book of the Order’s ritual, and to the fact that the first
General Assembly of the Knights was held nine years after the Order’s founding in 1869”

This looks like as clear of an answer you can get unless you start digging through the referenced sources in these statements on page 480 of that link I threw out..

Prytaneum- a public building or hall in an ancient Greek city containing the state hearth and serving as the place of meeting and dining for the prytanes and sometimes of official hospitality for distinguished citizens and visitors. (By Webster)
Or- Greek Prytaneion, town hall of a Greek city-state, normally housing the chief magistrate and the common altar or hearth of the community. (By Britannica)
So something along those lines with the phrase Prytaneum perhaps?

January 1st 1878 very likely refers to some kinda founding date as I was able to find they released an official Knights of Labor Constitution on that day. Would make sense for them to tie the date into an official symbol if thats when they worked to formalize themselves. I couldnt find a way to sneak around the scholarly library access walls to get a peek at whats in their constitution but if anyone has such access it would probably be extremely pertinent and give incite to the objectives and principles of their organization. There is now a book I am trying to track down without paying 50$ for called Secret Societies and Clubs in American History that seems to have a chapter on them as well.

The Phrase That is the most perfect government in which an injury to one is the concern of all around the border really fits well with their belief system and looks like it was a sort of rallying cry for the organization.

Not at all. When I was in like the 1st grade my school gave a general one to everyone. In my class myself and 1 other kid got pulled out for more. I don't know if the other kids was the same but mine went on for some period of time each day for a week. Although I could not say what the test was the thing I scored absolutely off the charts on was them reading a series of numbers to me and having me say the numbers back to them in reverse order. They also extensively quizzed me on random knowledge, I particularly remember them asking about questions about presidents and I would answer 'I dont know' and the lady would ask me to guess anyways and I would get it right.

To my limited understanding one reason most IQ tests ask for your age and education level is to put you in ratio to your peers. Most I have messed with also run through basic math which has little to do with pattern recognition.

Its an interesting subject to dig into but I am pretty against trying to quantify intelligence as a standard. It glorifies a specific type of intelligence while invalidating another and basically calls people stupid or 'average' which is a terrible thing to do, especially with children.

I think politicians and people in high-held roles in the private sector are generally quite intelligent for this reason, assuming they're successful in their endeavours. There are exceptions, of course.
I certainly believe there is some measure of truth to this. For a very long time I have taken a real issue with how intelligence is measured and I feel that its very unfair to glorify the classic blend of pattern recognition, memory and measured understanding of formal educational material in ratio to peers that makes up the overwhelming majority of IQ tests.

On the other hand I do feel politics has been turning away from the candidate and towards the 'image' a group sells and assigns to the face. Honestly I think a big reason Trump ever got in Office was that he was a blathering assclown but a real person while it was painfully obvious Hillary was just selling a fake image tailored to garnish votes. Even things like a 'Debate' are starting to be gamed with teams 'Fact checking' and making messages to throw on the screen to support a candidate instead requiring the individual to use their wit and intelligence to push their points and deflate their opponents. In this way I feel that high power positions are shifting away from requiring the sort of social intelligence your describing (although more so in politics and the 'Board member' sort of corporate politics.)

Let's say you are some random politician and you have infinite resources for some reason. How would you fearmonger or how would you use fearmongering to gain votes?
Well for a extremely over simplified version in this context:
Have a justified police shooting. Market it as racist pushing the message 'you should be afraid, they will wrongly kill citizens with impunity' and make yourself the voice saying 'We will change this thing you fear and hold them accountable.'
The appeal tugs at safety and morality with the solution being to put them in power.

In the age of macro manipulation of social networks for political gain I doubt anyone would say this sort of pattern does not exist. The same pattern was used on the other side:
"Bad people are crossing our border, raping our family's and stealing/murdering, you should be afraid" followed by the voiced solution of "Put us and power and we will build a wall to protect you and your children"

I think its common practice used by both sides but as Malcom X pointed out- African American suffering is being exploited for political gain (Although him saying that was obviously not it context to this situation at all)

The connection I make is that the message of racism promotes siding with democrats. There is clear racial undertones to the two parties and the pattern in which we saw with protests/riots is a very clear one. I am kinda regurgitating the view of Malcolm X here where he voiced
The American negro is nothing but a political football and the white liberals control this ball. Through tricks, tokenism, and false promises of integration and civil rights
On a basic level if you think about it its highly questionable how the side championing 'change' was the one in power for 8 years just before all these racial issues blew up. This is a pattern we see in politics. Time after time each group points to human suffering or moral principle promising they will make change if they are given the power but that change never happens. We can either conclude our power structures are woefully incompetent or (more likely imo) that they do not want change. That things are the way they want them because it puts them in power.

This is how I see a portion of 'perceived systemic racism' right now. Its a power message that preserves the power of one group and eliminating it would reduce their ability to market themselves and hold their grip on power.

On the parallel of the individual consider the case of "Jussie Smollett." He basically paid 2 friends (who were also black) to 'attack' him in a parking garage and made a noose he put around his neck then filed a false police report claiming it was white guys who did it with racial and homophobic motivations. His objective was some kind of sociopathic victimization that would increase his social image for his personal gain by playing off racial and homophobic hate and fear. These actions do exist on both the macro and micro and I believe looking at potential 'gain' is a nice indicator to speculating on motive.

I do not mean to say systemic racism or police brutality is not real or is not a huge problem at all. I am just saying there is personal and political motives to fearmongering and that it is very intentional. My belief that it will stick around is just my speculation because past events are the best indicators of future events and the things I believe would actually shift these issues are not even being talked about..

I do believe so. There are many times I see a 10 second clip of a guy being shot or beaten that looks very wrong. Then I go back and dig up the body cam footage and understand how things got there and feel its totally justified. Someone had to get that full body cam footage and edit out the parts that provide context to make a clip that makes the incident look as bad as possible. There is no way that is not intentional.

Another thing I think strongly points to this is headlines. In the body of a story there is lots of rhetoric and details but the headline underscores the naked point they are pushing. Just look at any issue discussed in the news. On each political side you see one side call people rioters and the other calls them protestors. Then when the situation flips the rhetoric flips and each side highlights the worst or best aspects in order to sell their position instead of objectively explaining it. We live in an age where people very intentionally 'spread hate and fear whilst knowing better'. Just consider parallels like the whole 'stolen election' bit where a message was sold it was fraud but the leadership in courts very directly said 'this is not an issue of fraud.'

This is something I hear a lot. Imagine if that cop had not shot. I bet the exact same message could be said on the other side of 'Police officer allows black teenager to be stabbed to death.' People could be talking about how he had a gun and choose not to protect the girl because she was black or some such.
The use of a gun is only allowed in response to a deadly threat and its objective is to 'stop' that threat. Police shoot until there is no threat because people can survive some punishment. Just look up medal of Honor recipient Roy Benavidez who was shot 37 times, took shrapnel and was hurt in hand to hand but lived. If anything I feel like that cop waited too long to shoot. People see movies and video games and think a body shot drops someone but I could tell you some pretty fucked up stories from personal experience of people just not going down while taking crazy damage. The fact he held restraint even after that girl had already stabbed someone is a pretty strong indicator he did everything within reason to avoid killing that girl. I don't know the first thing about being a cop and am trained pretty differently but I would have been laying down rounds the moment that girl had stabbed someone.
People say things like 'Why didn't you shoot them in the leg' but have no understanding for how bullets move in a body or that there is a MASSIVE artery in the leg called the femoral artery that can easily bleed you out in minutes. If you have any interest in it look into gunshot wounds. Bullets move in crazy ways that can not be predicted once they hit a person and shooting someone is never justified in an 'attempt to wound'. Just imagine how the conversation would go if someday a cop kills someone and his defense is "I only meant to would him." He would be absolutely crucified in the court of public opinion as well as real court.

I do not mean to insinuate that the BLM movement is bad at all. I think it creates a lot of good although it is exploited in politics. I just take strong issue with situations like this where something so justified is used to spread hate and fear. That girl had already stabbed someone and was moments from stabbing another. I do not think any reasonable person can claim a knife is not a deadly threat but there are those who would push that girl running around stabbing people is a victim. I really feel like this echo in our society of pushing that message of hate and fear causes some of the terrible interactions with police. Its one thing to say a problem exists but quite another to make stuff up to say the problem is worse than it is.

I have seen tons of issues like this before but never this blatantly. Its usually some guy trys to run and is about to run over a cop and gets shot or he wrestles with a cop while trying to get away and while fighting for the cops gun gets shot and such. The same message of 'unarmed black man killed by police' gets thrown around and it just pushes that message that creates the fear motivating more people to run and fight than follow police orders.

I do question if a part of that comes from people speaking outside of their knowledge. There is not really any other field in this world where 'experts' who deal with this all day every day get questioned by people who have never so much as shot a gun and have no clue what its like to be in a deadly situation. Imagine if when a doctors patient died you had groups watching youtube videos arguing medical treatment. It would be asinine to voice those opinions but in the realm of law enforcement its common place to scrutinize the decisions professionals make in fractions of a second. Simple concepts like how training muscle memory to react on call and how that effects how you will shoot under pressure is not understood even by your average gun enthusiast.

I feel like it detracts from people who are actually being oppressed and real police brutality. I do not know if there has ever been a more justified shooting than a teenage girl cowering against a car fractions of a second away from being stabbed but you still have so many outlets and people pushing a rhetoric that perpetuates hostility and fear between African Americans and police. Is there even a word for that process? Like.. Inciting fear and hatred through falsifying oppression?

Not to say there is not a lot of corruption but I really feel like this kinda shit right here is what causes a lot of the issues.
  42. ►►Re: Opinion: Once the current BLM fervour ends people will just go back to the way they were◄◄

I don't think it will end for a very long time. One issue is that I do not believe our society has moved in any real direction to address systemic racism.

I also see some level of the movement amplifying some police action as racist when it was both justified and not racial as instigating fear in African American / Police interactions and exacerbating the problem and creating more negative outcomes in those interactions. Confirmation bias plays a factor and its natural for a human being to run when they are afraid for their safety and the message that police are out to harm you because of your race creates that fear.

Finally there is a very political side to this message. After having an African American president for 8 years Trump got in office and racism became a political rallying cry. The second he was out of office that message died down. This both suggests political motivations leveraging African American suffering as well as it being an effective tool to push public motivation in the favor of the democrats power structure. I kind of expect this to exploited over and over again.

Something is interesting is that racial humor is considered acceptable depending on society's sensitivity to a race. Right now I could crack a joke like
'How do you circumcise a white Hill Billy? You kick his cousin in the jaw!'
This plays on the negative stereotype of white people fucking their cousins which is pretty much negative and racist but its likely nobody would take issue with it.
Then I could crack a joke about black people liking fried chicken.
It is playing on a stereotype but is not negative at all yet I believe it would be much more likely that between those jokes the comment on fried chicken would be found 'offensive' long before the crack on white incest simply because of our society's sensitivity to the issue.

All that to say- I think your right that 'if' the message died down cultural sensitivities would shift and racial humor would become more acceptable (which would arguably be a sign of a hate free society while simultaneously allowing for a form of hate speech to become acceptable) but I do not think it will happen. There is interest within the existing power structures to keep things the way they are and the message is a powerful tool while actually addressing the issue would require those who are better off in our society to sacrifice their 'privilege.' I just do not have faith in the individual or the power structures to act in a selfless manner when there is such interest in maintaining systemic racism.

To be fair though this game could have gone VERY differently if the town had known the peek.

When it was DM/Noctiz/Bahkieh/MM/Martin Noctiz was essentially unlynchable with me and the death chat in his ear and imagine DM being peeked town. That leaves 2/3 mafia in a PoE and mechanically confirms Martin is Mafia. The the night kill would have to go between shutting up the median interference or killing the peeked town for a 1/2 last day with the third player being town to lead the lynch.

Still coulda easily gone to the scum but that would have been a massive difference imo.

    ►►Re: Determinism vs Free Will◄◄

Theres a number of things to unpack there. Determinism follows the line that all things are predictable if you have 100% information so the most complex and unlikely interactions (even chaos theory stuff such as the butterfly effect in weather) should be predictable in advance.

In line with Determinism Kant had a pretty cool way of thinking about it I came across when I was like 12 that changed how I thought about thinking. He had some scribblings that basically formulated our thoughts as being a combination of prior knowledge and current experience which equated to the issue of a sort of 'tullage' that limits creativity / innovation into the bounds of our surroundings and interactions and pushed that this is the specific thing creative minds should target to eliminate.

You could also just simplify the idea of thought processes in determinism by the fact our minds are physical and so are our thoughts, thus they hold to the same rules of physics as the weather and such.

But then quantum theory has an aspect of (what we think is) 'random' to it dealing with probability. So if true randomization exists on that level you should not be able to have a deterministic reality because the blocks its built on are random. One issue with this I have is that the theorys asign some theoretical possibility your finger could quantum phase 1 cm away from your hand and fall off, and in our age of video nothing 'weird' of the sort has ever been recorded.

But then this 'randomization' may not really random in line with Thomas Youngs double slit experiment. sending photons through 2 slits seems to have constructive and destructive interference creating an interference pattern on the other side from the interactions of multiple particle waves. And then it gets weird with 1 single photon seemingly going through both slits on its own creating the same interference pattern. This pattern is predictable suggesting- not random. And you could even argue that sense a pattern exists laws of averages will set in and essentially return a non-quantum reality to the predictable world of determinism.

And then if you step outside of that into ideas like 'the human soul' you once again have to shake up the model. Even if everything except us can be determined we could be an exception (Although thats the type of human centric thinking I feel is very flawed) by saying we have a soul and it drives us outside of physical factors.

I was talking the other day with someone and we were joking about how in sociology you can seemingly find patterns of decisions at scale that appear to have the same patterns as Thomas Young's double slit experiment and maybe the macro is just represented in the micro on a truly fundamental level as that same sort of 'micro to macro' interaction seems to be reflected in how society's function.

All that to say- I could see it both ways? Although on an 'absolute' level you basically have to adjust the meaning of determinism in order to allow for free will to exist because a very simplistic and absolute view of it would suggest all your actions in your life are pre-determined. But you could even take it a step further by asking questions like 'is does mathematics exist on a fundamental level and we discover it or is it something we make up that freakishly well describes our world around us? if you really want to jump down the rabbit hole on this one. Because if math is just our creation we have no clue how reality functions and everything I just said on the subject is invalid as fuck.

I kinda wonder.. With people like Trump leading republicans to some extent how far do you think things will go if the system totally shifts in favor of democrats? Say DC becomes a state and Texas takes in so many people from California and New York it votes democrat.. Republicans will know their power is gone and there is nothing more dangerous than taking power away from powerful people. I wonder how extreme they would be willing to be in an attempt to get that power back. Could it fracture the United states again? Or maybe justify another more committed coup?

Im curious how the next 10 years is gona play out although right now I am more focused on interest rates hiking next year.

These struggles have always existed but the thing I dislike is that the focus in politics has been heavily shifting twords messing with the 'system' itself in recent years. Actions like messing with electoral college votes or stacking out the supreme court when its not in your favor is a slippery slope (no fallacy intended) and a pattern that lead up to the civil war. I think there is a substantial difference between competing within decided rules and focusing on changing the rules.

Not to say that democrats are the only ones doing it at all. That was a huge focus during the Trump administration and its underscored by his attempt to coup and grab power after the fact or push public perception of a rigged election.

My point is that this new focus by the two power structure is dangerous. Especially so in a political climate of 'Well he did this toooo' rules king and justifies unjust actions to the polarized public..

It does kinda make sense. Hopefully will open the gate to giving taxed 'provinces' rights down the road.

Although I am sure it will become political fast. And honestly, it probably is. Usually when a powerful group is doing something right for a helpless group its not because they give a shit about whats right, its because its in the direction that supports their power structure. I doubt anyone will question the fact that increasing electoral college power in an area that favors one group was not a factor in such a move.

Both party's can go fuck themselves. Hopefully that group of people gets a bit of representation out of the degusting political power struggle in the end.

Dead scum became a median between the dead and the scum hunting for the dead priest who was a median between the dead and the town. Super cool dynamic there but I don't feel like it became any factor of note in the game as far as in dead and scum chats.
