  1. {Watch List} ►►Re: Reporting multiple players for Griefing and Gamethrowing◄◄

    This is FattyMcBane 1-S2-1-5771489

The other day I had a new notification that I was being warned for reactionary gamethrowing, and I got linked here.

I am appealing this warning and being placed on the watch list because I was not gamethrowing, I was leaving a game that I thought was already lost. I know this because as mentioned, although Faithless was escort, he openly claimed to be executioner and tried to get someone lynched. When he continued to act as if he were executioner when on trial, I repeatedly told town to guilty/lynch him. Somehow, none of them did, and two even innoced him. I shot one of the people who innoced him because in my experience, mafia and evils want to keep the executioner alive to mess up town. However, when 11 flipped jailor, I realized that it was not the mafia or evils keeping the exe claim alive, but the entire town itself. At that point, I left because a town which actively defends an open executioner claim is lost/trolling anyway. To be clear, I did not just shoot someone and leave because I wasnt able to lynch the exe claim, I left because after shooting a suspected mafia, I saw that town was working against themselves and that it would result in a loss.

I guess I understand if leaving in that situation still counts as "gamethrowing," but if thats the case, I feel like one would have to admit that the rest of town was throwing somewhat as well. Also, I didn't leave to try to make town lose, I left because in my mind they had already lost. Basically, I agree that what was described by Auwt happened in the way that they said, but the intention behind those actions was not to throw the game, so I do not believe that it was gamethrowing. On another note, I'm pretty sure anyone who has played with me knows I try to win as my role more than most, and from what I can see you put people on watchlists based on patterns of behavior. I do not think I have any sort of pattern of leaving or throwing, so I ask to be removed from the watchlist with the repealing of the reactionary gamethrowing offense.

I have read the appeal instructions and understand that if the appeal is found frivolous, the punishment could double.

Unforunately I do not have a replay as my computer got nuked awhile ago, but I hope I am still in your database. If you cannot restore points and acheievements, does it work to renew my benefactor code? It no longer works. I got it over 4 years ago so maybe there's a time limit on it, not sure though. I do not know if at this point it would be up to DR, but if he keeps his messages, he gave it to me on November 7th or 8th, 2014, if that counts as proof. I think my name is in the contributors list somewhere in the info panel of the game and on the map, if that works as proof too. Anyway, if you cannot restore my original account, renewing or fixing the key works for me too. Also off topic question: If I used a new laptop to sign in after doing a restore/key on a different one, would I have to also get it restored on the laptop as well or does it not carry over? In the past I was able to enter my key multiple times on different computers using the same account, but I do not know if achievements and all that transfer. Thanks for taking the time to look at this, hope everyone's weekend is going well.
