What's the stupidest thing you've seen in this game?
For me, it happened one game when I was Vigilante.
On N1, I got jailed, and claimed Escort, just in case it was an interrogator.
On D2, The Godfather publicly claimed spy and gave correct info on who the Mafia had visited. A Lookout/Detective also revealed with info on who had visited one of the Mafia targets.
On N2, using this info I shot one of the visitors, who turned out to be a blackmailer.
On D3, I revealed as Vigilante, saying I shot the Blackmailer.
On N3, the same Jailor jails me and executes me for lying to him about my role. I checked the replay - the dude was a Jailor. :c

When you're executed you get different text depending on if it's a Jailor vs Kidnapper vs Interrogator, it tells you the role of the person who executed you.
So no need to check the replay, you can be angry while still in the game :)

Ahhhhjjj I wanted to say that! :laugh:
But yeah, the Jailor obv didn't know how to read the graveyard death desceptions. Doesn't take a lot of brainpower to realize that if you weren't the real Vigilante then you'd either get CC'd or killed by the real one - so it stands to reason the Jailor thought there was no Vigi.
It's not rare for something in the game being dependant on wether or not you can teach someone something quick enough, like checking the role cards at the top or like in this case - death desceptions.
Not sure if that'd help here though? Since "shot by high caliber.." wouldn't necessarily translate to "shot by vigilante".

I don't remember much, but one thing that I remotely remember is a spy and lookout/detective mechanically "knowing" who the Disguiser is and never telling + another lookout/detective having mechanically confirmed a towny but still lynching them. How the Townie got lynched instead of that Disguiser, I will never know. Game was a shit fest; I went to check the site if there's a nomination for worst game after that.

There is no telling what the stupidest thing that has happened in front of me was.
I can say I think the worst action I have taken was when I had my entire team leave train as scum D1 and in Lylo I mistakenly revealed myself when challenged after a sheriff gambit even though I knew I had killed all town invest long ago.
My friends laughed at me as I slipped there and I knew I had dun fucked up.

Nothing specific comes to mind, but I recall a lot of Town Gov games where I fucked up.

I think my teammate did that on purpose since he'd talked of us bussing him.

I was judge and courted the Marshall to get 3 townies and lead a scum comeback. We went into the night judge + mafioso vs. 2 town.
I openly claimed my number so the mafia would not shoot me.
The mafia guy then shot me, and got lynched the next day.
He said “oh I thought you were lying about your number”

That reminds me of when the mafio openly said at start of a day that they + evil neutral have the vote power. All Townies voted that guy, and on the final seconds of the day so too did one of the other mafio.
Unless my memory is playing tricks with me - I'm pretty sure Town ended up winning that one.
I know that the games can be hard to follow, but it's hard to imagine that not being intentional throw..

Lagattack witched me into himself, killing him as vigilante (high caliber gun shots)
I claimed to have been witched into the witch D2, and was lynched because "Vigi isn't confirmed, you're mafia who killed witch", oh, I'll also add that there was no vigilante CC

N1 Mafia shot a target "Riddled with bullets at close range", that was right before my victim showing up
Also N1 by vigi "Shot multiple times with a high caliber gun", mafia unless they have kidnapper or beguiler chokes someone out can only shoot once.

I was sheriff. For some reason I thought I was doc, and targeted someone I thought was town to "heal" them (lol)

I was GF and on d2 Marsh revealed. Without judge courting, town got him lynched after I first voted on marshall. I wanna do it for the lols but I didn't expect the whole town to be that drunk to vote on revealed marsh

to be fair, if it's d2 and let's say 2 town died and 0 non-town. 7 votes to execute and possibly 7 non-town in an 8331 setup.
