Day 1

Setup

Sixteen people find themselves in a strange place, white walls and strange rooms. No one seems to know their true identities, or what they are doing here. There is a single needle filled with a strange liquid in the middle of the common room, labeled lethal. The group decides to use it today on someone who they deem to have malicious intent.

Looks like I'm the first. I'll use this post to make a small disclaimer: It's pretty late for me right now so don't expect me to always be there at the beginning of the day. The next time I'll be able to post is in many hours.

Actually, after laughing quite a bit off of that initial post, I decided I should probably play seriously.

Across a few sites for non-turbo games, I have like a 0/7 win rate on town.

Spruce said something incredibly odd, though this post actually accomplishes nothing due to the lack of a vote or further questioning. It's possible you had no gut feelings about anyone else aside from Spruce, so reads lacking elsewhere is fine. Though, I'm concerned that you said, in essence:

Too early to make assumptions
Of course we wouldnt lose that much of thing if we lynch a townie but that's just weird to go after 1 post... He didn't even vote. Also he isn't witch hunting so your assumption him being "evil" is wrong.

My thought process is that the setup will consist of TPRs and shitizens vs 3 triad and 3 mafia, or 1 nk and 4 mafia

It's day 1, we have no evidence. No information will present itself in a greater way than is present at the start of day 1. Therefore, the entirety of day 1 lynches is based on gut feeling pushes and other's reactions to such gut feeling pushes.

What I am doing is generating reactions and pressure in order for us to make informed voting decisions. This is not weird play. Also, you so readily ascribe him the role of town. If I am wrong to assume him evil off of one post, why do you assume him town off of one post?

22 hasn't posted yet, but you will likely be able to tell us apart due to syntactical structure of our sentences.

Also, I've shitposted my fair share, so I understand. I'm not scum reading you for shitposting, that's idiotic. Rather, I am asking your opinion. All opinions should be said early and often, which allows for much better scum hunting later on.

I would normally advise against this, but I would like to suggest some teamhunting-- in small doses of course; but from the setup I personally would think that there's no point in defending anyone. I would also like to ask a question: Are last wills allowed? if not then I want to propose a cop cover strat, in case there is a town investigative of some sort.

I'm Fury, not 22. Nevertheless, it's childish to never make assumptions based upon the fear of them proving unfounded.

In my last town game (oh shit I did win a town game, I just remembered), I found 2 mafia day 1 and called for outed day-vig to shoot one. Then, we lynched the other.

Point is, day 1 scum reads are valuable.
