Myopia has to go. I don't have any reason to think they are town; But if they are, can you just imagine them in LYLO? I have no faith on them making the right call and it would be rather painful trying to convince them. I think D1 I called out their exaggerated ATE defense when I pushed them for something and that has kinda been a trend all game.
CBI looks bad. Another slot nobody thinks is town but for now they are overshadowed by Myopia and Artiste enough to keep them off the block unless someone wants to argue for a CFD.
Artiste looks terrible. I think there is real potential they faked their claim and tailored Myopia thinking they could grab town cred. No reasonable town would shoot with a gun that only kills town. And for host meta I know 'roles dont reflect alignment' but that roles is like.. 9 kinds of fucked to be put in the hands of a town player. Even its design on pains flip specifically sets it up as a solo neutral which is of note.
Like.. Just imagine rolling town and being given a role that death tailors and can only kill townies. Does that sound fun? Do you think the hosts would do that to a player? I accept that anti-town utilitys exists within roles. I have an odd one myself but this is like an only anti town role unless stuff happens the player can not control on a specific day. For balance it feels more like an anti-swing countermeasure as a neutral to me.

I suspect a lot of scum/neutrals were inactive and kinda lurked by to this 9 players state. I would expect a significant amount of non-town for balance, though. Like... 4 non-town? We have 5 non-town flips on 24 players, so there necessarily are more than just one non-town here (18 v 6 including neutrals would be horrible balance, excluding crazy factional bonuses).Quote:

If Chad is something other than town, it's probably a solo neutral faction that has interest in genuinely scumhunting, considering how he acted (and especially considering his genuine reevaluations). You are making an interesting point, though. I am just not too sure what Forsaken was trying to do: he could have just been trying to make himself interesting to survive? Or he could have tried to cause chaos for fun? If you are onto something, my most confident townread this game has been wrong. I certainly do not think he should be a priority lynch in any way.Quote:

I am confident it was a veiled threat. The only real question I could see is if it was not actually directed at them and was instead sending a message to another player like "I can reveal what you have.. Do you want that public? Shoot again or else I will reveal you"
