Has it started yet or did I miss it?

I joined the channel and only 9 people are in it.

We are in a group with 14 people.

My time being wasted.

1. No "in house".
2. None of them in the Cup is in Ranked or Custom. (Repeatively checked)
3. No PM or invite received.
4. Make a chat for the cup, no one even checks it.
5. No clarification on anything.

Why even ask for names and ID's to make sure the others is there, when no one is going to invite / check things anyway?
If things are that there's really invites, I've waited more than a full hour.

If it's a normal Custom Game, it's unfair and stupid: Rushing games, public joins.
That's the point of In House, avoid public and play with the experienced.

This is most likely going to repeat, so screw this.


If this is how the "cup" is how good a player is, it's because the others are ignored and thrown out.
No help, overall bad service given in this situation.

Game 1: Town won game 1 i was cit stabbed by the sk = 1 point

Game 2: I was cit again and vested efficiently (+10) talked myself off trial(+5) and i lead lynches against the mm after it and against the witch(+2)., town won (+1). lived to the end (+1) = 19 points

Game 3: Mayor stabbed by the sk again town lost = 0 points.


Makes 20 points.

Your call guys! I doubt that somebody has more points than me :-P

Citizen timing a one shot vest to block an attack they have little control or ability to predict coming?

I object that the Cup is legit.
I had a large rant, but here's a TLDR : I was there for a full hour and more with no help or anything whatsoever, I never played a game.

1. No PMs given.
2. No invites given.
3. Those that got in, repeatively got in. No one else could get in once it started.
4. One season and a whole cup done, excluding everyone else. Didn't even take 2 hours.
5. Repeatively going Ranked / Custom, the games has already started and with pubs filling the so called "in houses" super quick so I never saw anyone.
6. A group chat was made for the cup, no one even checks it.
7. PM'd the hosts ingame, received no answer.

I don't really like arguing, but I absolutely hate unfairness and time wasters.
In fact, those that made, hosted and support-helped this all received an automatic spot in this. Most mods have close contact, so they get there whenever they want by contacting them, which ordinary members have no access to.

RLVG the time was given 4 days in advanced. You can argue that PMs should have gone out or more announcements should have been made, but the fact remains that Slaol provided a time.

They did not just play public games... Why would you think that?

Now I wasn't in the games, but maybe it has something to do with it starting at 1PM my time, and you posting if there is room an hour later. They were probably in the middle of their second game by then.

That was made at 1:16PM (My time), when your post asking, and then editted with a rant, was made at 2:10PM (My time). The staff cannot revolve around your personal needs. The vast majority of players were here at 1PM (My time) and Slaol + Damus hosted the game. First off, those that "made, hosted, and supported" this were the same people. You kinda need Slaol in a tournament Sloal is hosting.... The rest of the staff had to /sign and show up at the correct time. We couldn't just message Slaol on skype an hour after it started with "Hey I would like to play, got room?"... Slaol would get Raptor to fire us :P

The lack of respect is the lack of service, guidance and help. I have PM'd the hosts ingame, no answer. I could've received an answer that I'm not permitted to join anymore, so I didn't waste my time.
If you're saying that a Cup is "The first 15 to join is the only players the whole cup" then that's just bad practice if more than 40 had signed.

I will simply refuse to gain such a horrible service again. It's not a rant on the mods, but simply a rant in the service given on that day. No clarification, no support, no answers, no nothing. All we received was a time and a "bump", when it would be apropriate with a PM as it is shown rather clearly. :suspicious:

However, know this: I didn't get to play because the time was too early for me. Not everyone can play because of time. The same thing happened to me last tournament.

"Lack of invites", you can't state that because you were not in Starcraft 2 NA region before an hour after it started.

If you really wanted to play, you would have been like me and checked the thread for the time. That how I found out the start time. Then as the time got near, monitor the thread.

You know you can't PM people In-game while in a game of mafia. -Mafia- won't let you....

The only point I can't say anything about is your last one, and only because I don't know how it was set-up. Sloal or Damus will have to respond to that (or anyone who played).

Checking it 24 / 7? There's a reason I was off by a hour, I didn't know it was happening at that time and I took the word on "Early Evening in Europe". I casually checked to see when it is, when I discovered it was too late.

the only thing, imo was that it could have been edited onto the main page, the correct date/time.

I think this was the main thing that was missing.

There was more that could have been done, namely in Ypmagic's suggestion to post a larger announcement.

I'm not sure why the time didn't work for Boss (what country are you in Boss?), as it did work for me.

One of the issues was that Fred had a life leading up to the tournament, so he could not plan, and I managed to pick one up a few days before hand. Then I thought we would be without Damus for the tournament as well. Life hit us and it limited what we could do. That said, we did wait around for some 20 minutes after the posted time, but could not make everyone wait around another hour for a few more people. We will learn from this and hopefully the next one will be handled a little more fluidly.

OK, so based on scoring system- Fred won. Damus got second, and Mateo got third. CmG coming up short with 4th. Yayap was last.

Since Fred and Damus were my co-hosts, I have decided to award the Badge to both Fred (actual winner) and Mateo (non-co-host winner). It was kind of bothersome when I noticed this was going to happen xD.

Congratulations to Mateo though.
