Citizen Bugged?

So, Godfather and I [consig] are left vs a citizen.
I decide to lynch the gf with the citizen and win anyway.
I got a huge suprise when it said he was citizen, went OH SHIT
but then it went into night, so I just killed him and won

I thought citizen was supposed to win ties against the mafia?
And yes that option was enabled as well.

I'm assuming that if he had survived the night, he would have won. As in, at day start (not after a lynch), if there is a tie, town would win.

it's not a bug, the citizen needed to have a vest to survive that night for Town to win.
Therefore I think it is really difficult for a citizen to win ties.

Anyway, you shouldn't have lynched the GF.

straykiwi = Tricksta? I was in that game. It was intense. GF was lynched cause he killed the jester at night.

We generally frown on that kind of behavior.
