Additional Notes
Thanks for the report. I made a conclusion, since GoatseCraft was griefing and pretended to do a fake intentional Game Throwing attempt, which caused four people to leave after he revealed his "mafia" buddies.

The players that left after GoatseCraft shouldn't be punished for I believe they thought the game was thrown due to GoatseCraft actions.

The stump role quitting, I'm not going to do anything about that since it's really a punishable role and pretty much useless.

Sorry for the confusion.

I feel like we shouldn't punish a person for role quitting as stump, because it's not really designed to actually be part of the game.

Just my two cents.

In that case, we really should consider punishing people for running Stump / Scumbag setups as has been raised before. It's either okay and a role quit if you leave while that role or it's not okay and the host should be punished for running an illegitimate setup. Doing neither just perpetuates the problem IMO.

I didn't punish the person that was "Stump", only those that left before GoatseCraft Game threw, but I'll note that for the future if a Stump/Scumbag leaves.

I don't know if this matters, but Goatse was Marshall and was not actually a part of the mafia. I don't know if fake revealing is punishable. I'm sure you know he was not actually mafia, but wanted to just point it out in case he was being punished for something that he wasn't doing! It's in the second screenshot.

Although looking at it again, he did call out the correct mafia. Mayhaps want to check to see if he was hacking. Bc he knew both mafia and was marshall.

I think I may have to take a look at this replay myself.

Punishment at 1x ban list for Goatsecraft.

I don't understand this ban, I am spamming for attention so that either a BG will defend me or that I will seem like a veteran/jester and have a better chance of not being targeted by the mafia n1, after 4 potential town targets for the mafia have already left. It's literally the most standard move in mafia after sheriff jailor. You can't say that my spam caused anybody to leave when 4 leave trainers left before I even started talking. IMO banlistx0 is necessary here

We did this because you are pretending to commit an Intentional Game Throwing, thou your leads are false and persuasive.

You said "I am mafia. My teammates are 6 and 8. I am throwing game now." as the role of Marshall.

We've ruled that false game throwing like this will be punishable as the crime of Griefing. The fact that you have a past of Intentional Game Throwing doesn't help neither.

Fake gamethrowing is considered griefing and is a punishable offense.

How is it fake gamethrowing and not, you know, a game of lies?

Because he announces "I am throwing game now." and spammed his gamethrow incessantly, ala Timmy. Announcing this is usually a good way to incite a large leave train, as well.

Can we prove it has a noticable impact on leave trains?

Can you not see how hard I was metagaming them? I softclaimed veteran or jester by spamming/drawing attention to myself, therefore ensuring I would not receive attention from evils who would not benefit from visiting a jester or vet. The fact that both my random guesses were right just shows how well I played this. What I did in this position is equivalent to a godfather getting random voted to trial and saying GG town are trolls, they don't want to even win. I knew I wasn't game throwing, but I raised doubt in the minds of any scum player who would try to visit me. IMO, I played it perfectly 10/10 and should be unbanned.

I got reported as stump role. What is this world coming to.:toadette:

Tbh, didn't look at the roles when I reported. I just reported everyone in the train. Also, I didn't intend for goatse to get into trouble either. I think game was pretty much ruined from that point on. And to be fair, if the guy I reported for executing me during this game isn't going to get into trouble (https://www.sc2mafia.com/forum/showth...1-S2-1-2302742), I don't think goatse should either. 1 was intentional game throw, the other was attempted game play.


If you have found no evidence of hacking or anything, then it's clear he just luckily guessed the correct mafia. It happens sometimes. Other evidence here: https://www.sc2mafia.com/forum/showth...1-S2-1-3018884 .. this marshall was able to guess most of his opponents correctly.

I've played with goatse in many many games at this point, and he is a stand up guy from what I can see. I can tell he's had a past, but I feel that perhaps some of that is bleeding into this report, which was not the intention.
