New Roles: Bomber, Mine Layer and Sapper
Role name: Bomber
Description: A crazy terrorist the sets explosives at people's houses to kill then
Alignment:None
Abilities: Plants a bomb with timer at target person's location. When the timer expires, the bomb explodes, killing that player.
Depending on the option, the bomb may or may not ignore night immunity or doctor heals. A Citizen or Survivor with protective vest can survive the explosion. If a Bus Driver switch bomber's target with someone else when the timer ticks to zero, that "someone else" will explode instead of Bomber's original target. Also, if a Bodyguard protect a person that is about to be exploded, only Bodyguard will die from the bomb. Jailed tagets will also survive.
Win Condition: Kill everyone who will oppose you.
Host Options:
1) Set the timer of the bombs to 1/2/3 days, or allow the Bomber to set timer manually
2) Ignores night immunity ON/Off
3) Ignores doctor heals on/OFF
4) Target will know if bombed on/OFF
5) The bombs will explode even if Bomber is dead ON/off
Role name: Mine Layer
Description: An crafty tactician, who likes to set up mines near other people's houses.
Alignment: None
Abilities: Plants a mine at a targeted player's location. In the other following nights, if a person visits that player, that person will die, without applying their role's effects. If several players visits the mined person, only one of then will die, randomly chosen.
Depending on the option, the mine may or may not ignore night immunity or doctor heals.
Win Condition: Kill everyone who will oppose you.
Host Options:
1) Can plant mines near himself on/OFF
2) Ignores night immunity on/OFF
3) Ignores doctor heals on/OFF
4) Target will know if mined ON/off
5) The mines will stay even if Mine Layer is dead ON/off
Role name: Sapper
Description: An engineer skilled in working with mines and other dangerous explosives.
Alignment: Town/Neutral
Abilities:Defuses a bomb or mine at a targeted person's location, or do nothing, which will cause him to defuse himself.
Win Condition: Help the town win (Town), or survive to the end until Bombers and Mine Layers are dead (Neutral)
Host Options:
1) Will know if a bomb or mine was defused ON/off
2) Will know the exact explosive defused on/Off
3) Immune to bombs on/OFF
4) Can defuse bombs and mines at self ON/off
5) Wins if stays alive and Bombers and Mine Layers are dead ON/off
Investigator Options: Your target works with explosives. They could be a Bomber or Mine Layer, but they might also be a Sapper.
There is nothing wrong with balance of those roles, as their options can be heavily customized. Also, Sapper should only appear from Random Town only if Bomber or Miner are present. The Mafia will probably not risk killing a Sapper if one or more of then was bombed, and will ask him instead to defuse a bomb. The Godfather can avoid mines and kill the mined person, but other Mafia roles will be at greater risk, so they will be probably forced to conserve their actions.

Bomber - Simple killing role but with "delayed killing", and he can choose when the victim will be killed. Intereting, its a good idea of new class :D
Mine Layer(Another explosive role? ;)) - It's like a Bomber but its a defence role, its good too even when Bomber visit someone to set time bomb but - SUPRISE MINE **BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM**. Good idea but not if Mine Layer can mine his own location(self-target)
Sapper(you like explosions huh?) - So, Counter-Saper and Mine Layer. Alignment must be Town i think, if we have 2 Neutrals above. All role's need a counter so its good idea too.
2 words are the best for you, and your idea's about role's: "Interesting Creator"

i wonder if theres a way to implement the minelayer as a mafia role... maybe blackmailing the affected people or something

im not so sure i like the other two, sapper seems too cliche kind of like coroner already is, except worse, the only way i could see it as a good role it would make the first two essentially uselessu
and the bomber could be interesting, victims are warned the day before it goes off and it goes through immunity but can be healed or something, essentially forcing the docs hand, but theres already 2 neutral killing roles so... i dont like it but i dont dislike it either

I already thought on the possible options of all three roles listed. For you, just pick up any of the options you like from each of those roles, and post then here. They options above are my preferred options, although i can clarify on each of then more clearly.
Let's start with Bomber first.
1) Set the timer of the bombs to 1/2/3 days, or allow the Bomber to set timer manually
First, the longer the timer is, the more difficult is for Bomber to stand up against Sapper. 3 days should be used only if Sapper is not present, or if alert notification is off. 2 days is fairly acceptable, and should be used by default. 1 day makes Bomber closer to Serial Killer, but with alert on, Doctors and Sappers will probably try to save the bombed person right now (usually ending the game in favor of the Mafia). Setting the timer manually allows Bomber to kill up to 3 targets in a single night, like Arsonist, to scare the remaining people off.
2) Ignores night immunity ON/Off
If night immunity becomes ignored, then even night-immune Godfathers, Serial Killers and Arsonists will plead the town to save them (assuming alert is on), leading the game to many interesting situations. I don't know yet how Jesters could react to it, but I think it will probably like "lynch me before I die".
3) Ignores doctor heals on/OFF
If doctor heals are ignored, then victims will have to rely on Sappers, Bus Drivers and possibly Bodyguards to save then. Mafia also will have to work around and ask then for help (again, assuming that alert is still on).
4) Target will know if bombed on/OFF
If this option is turned on, then Sappers will have an advantage here. I'm assuming that both Sapper and Bomber are present in the game, so for this situation alert is turned off, with timer at 2-3 days. Alert should be on only if Sapper is not present, or if the timer of the bomb is determined by the Bomber.
5) The bombs will explode even if Bomber is dead ON/off
I do not have a point of view in this option yet, as there is no telling what could happen to the balance of the game after the Bomber is dead, so I'm suggesting it just for my own fun. In the end, I think it should be turned on only if bomb alert is turned on too.

Next is Mine Layer.
1) Can plant mines near himself on/OFF
Planting mines near himself makes Mine Layer more like a broken Veteran, so this is not an option Dark Revenant should use. If you use this option anyway, then Sheriff and Investigator should work around together with Doctor in order to locate the possible Mine Layer. The Mafia can simply kill Mine Layer with their night-immune Godfather.
2) Ignores night immunity on/OFF
Speaking of Godfather, he is the main reason why mines does not ignore night immunity. You know how the Mafia do most of their kills with Godfather? Turning this option on would make it easy for Mine Layer to kill usually untouchable by Town Godfather.
3) Ignores doctor heals on/OFF
Since Sheriffs and Investigators already like to visit people at night, then this option should be turned off, especially if Sappers are not present. Only Doctors and Sappers can prevent death of visiting roles from the mines, so limiting this possibility is out of question.
4) Target will know if mined ON/off
I purposely turned this action on by default. Why, you ask? First, if a person will say that he is mined, then he will be likely killed by Godfather next night (who is immune to mines by default). However, should Godfather dies, it becomes even more important for town members not to speak about being mined in order to lure an Mafioso to the minefield. On the other hand, if you are expecting a Doctor to heal you, or a Sheriff or investigator to visit you, try to warn him first that you are mined. If a member of the Mafia becomes mined, they will obviously not speak about it, as it will put then in advantage against investigating roles.
5) The mines will stay even if Mine Layer is dead ON/off

And finally is Sapper. The first two roles are already powerful enough, so it's natural to include a role that would be able to counteract then.
1) Will know if a bomb or mine was defused ON/off
By default, this option will be turned on. That will also allow Sapper to know that their target is not Bomber or Mine Layer. This action will save a person, which bomb's timer has ticked to zero, or save a visiting role that is trying to visit a mined person this night.
2) Will know the exact explosive defused on/Off
In setups with Random Neutral this will allow the Sapper to know early about the presence of Bomber or Mine Layer. By default it is on too.
3) Immune to bombs and mine-plants on/OFF
By default this protection is turned off, assuming the Sapper can use the night action on himself.
4) Can defuse bombs and mines at self ON/off
If this option is turned off, then Sapper will have a disadvantage against Bomber, and will have to rely on protective roles. But as we are assuming that the he is a "skilled engineer", then this option is turned on by default.
5) Wins if stays alive and Bombers and Mine Layers are dead ON/off
Normally Town roles have abilities that helps then in the game against Mafia, but Sapper's ability is designed to combat neutral roles - Bomber and Mine Layer, so it would be good to give him an alternate win condition to defeat then. In the end, I'll decide Sapper to be the Town role and not neutral.

I think the bomber would be a pretty decent killing role. I think the timer choice should be manual all the time. He would choose the time amount and then click on the target. It is sort of a mix between arsonist and serial killer with more thinking involved which is nice. Mine Layer seems too town favored. If you have mines on 3 town members the mafia will never have a chance to win. Even just one or two town members getting mined greatly reduces mafia's chances. Sapper seems also too niche of a role to be implemented.

i would change the minelayer to kill everyone who visists a person that night, kinda like a veteran except used on others

If you do just that, then make sure that mine alert is on. Also, speaking about mine-layer being town-sided...
Did you not forget that mines do not ignore night immunity by default? Even if a person is mined, they still have a risk of being killed by Godfather, unless Mafia uses a regular Mafioso to kill.

Even if the godfather is immune. The other mafias would risk their life every time they use their role on someone. It would make Mafia not a threat. I can't imagine a 3 mafia or even a 4 mafia build still not being town favored with a minelayer involved. I don't mind the bomber though.

With Mine Layer present, the ones to die will be probably Town's people. And if a Mafia member gets mined, then Mafia would get some kind of advantage instead.
To counteract that, people need to write in last will who they have targeted. Also, the mine is not activated immediately, it becomes active only on the following night after this one.
