I've noticed that in fire and electrocution executions, the marine player character does not play a death animation. After he is declared dead and his role given, he's still standing there safe and sound.

He isn't supposed to die.
you can only kill the body of the marine... you cannot kill the soul... hence why the suit does not move
Marine= to op to kill

On a serious note, this has been around for awhile and I am assuming it will be addressed in the 1.5 update.
