Instigator

Alignment: Neutral/Adv/Evil

Ability: Incite anger into two people each night if one visits the other they will attempt to kill them instead of there normal night action, if both targets visit each other both will die

Passive Abilities: All incited victims will attempt to kill by strangulation if they visit the other incited target, even if there already a killing role.
You cannot be killed by strangulation, If somewon attempts to they will attack themselves instead.
If your incited you will not attempt to kill any other incited targets.
If a incited target visits somewon other than a incited target, they will learn who your other incited target is.
If you attempt to incite somewon that cannot visit at night, they will learn who you are.

Goal: survive to the end and see the town and mafia lose the game.

Wins with survivors
Wins with amnesiacs
Wins with witches
Wins with cultists
Wins with serial killers
Wins with arsonists
Wins with instigators
Must kill the town
Must kill the mafia

Options:
Can target self: On/Off -Default ON
Immune to Roleblock: On/Off -Default ON
Strangulation ignores Immunity: -Default OFF
Invulnerable at night: On/Off -Default OFF

This role would bring more elements into game play like being carefull who you visit. It also ads a unique way of causing trouble in the town.

On a side note it could end perfect doc/bg/lookout visit-each-other-forever combos by converting both there actions to killing for 1 night.

The main risk of loseing does not come from investigative roles it comes from choosing the wrong targets. Sherifs do not detect Instigators.

This could also add to more complex gameplay, such as saying your going to visit people your not or helping scum to lie there way out of a detective or lookout.

A instigator in the game encourages citizens not to screem OH NO CITIZEN LAME ROLE but to instead stay quiet or fake power roles in attempt to bring down the Instigator.

One question: when he incites - what is it like? Like arsonist or sk? I mean what is the targetting system?

Apart from that your role is purely awesome! I'd love to see that in the game.

Like a witch/bus drivers targeting system, a button the the left and a button on the right of each player.

I like it's sense of originality. I have a question: What happens when you target yourself? Do you kill the other person? It counts as a visit...

That's why Instigator has the passive if your incited you will not attempt to kill other incited targets.

This keeps them from killing should they select themselves as a target, or be selected by a second instigator.

The instigator itself cannot strangle other players.

I do like where that idea is going. Sounds pretty fun. I think that being revealed to the incited should be an option to turn on or off.

This isn't bad. I think this is the default personality role with half the players in every game anyway.
