Curious question, with regards to Witch

If a Witch controlled a Vigilante to attack himself, and a Bodyguard were to defend that Vigilante... would they be involved in a shoot-out and get each other killed?

That'd be kinda ironic though, bodyguard sacrificing himself to kill the person he was supposedly protecting.

I think what would happen is only the bodyguard would die, as the way a bodyguard works is he takes ALL the attacks against his target and kills one of the attackers, right?

So he would essentially take the vigilante's shot on himself, then fire back at the vigilante who he's still protecting, and take his own rebound shot as well.

Although I guess that only works if bodyguards can protect against bodyguards, so that brings up another question.

If a bodyguard protects someone who is getting killed in a duel with another bodyguard, would the first bodyguard take the shot instead and both bodyguards die in a duel?

Was curious because earlier this scenario happened in the last 3 match up of the game.. witch vs vigi+bg. Ofc, the witch made the Vigi kill the bg though, was wondering what'd happen had he made the vigi kill himself with the bg on em :P

Yes he can. The bodyguard returns fire to whoever shoots at his target. his target just happens to be the shooter.
