Infinite alerts with no invuln piercing is even worse as that just means you're going to kill less Evil but the same amount of Town.

I've never really seen a problem with a Vet with infinite alerts compared to one with 3. In the 3 mode he might accidentally get killed if he wasn't discovered yet and didn't choose to go on alert, but once the Vet is revealed, people pretty much never take a chance on visiting him again, which makes it almost equal to just having infinite alerts.
