epic title is epic, I will post my thoughts on day 1 after I eat.

Thoughts on players: Brady and Hayley are trolls who contribute nothing. I think that is the ideal roulette senario unless brady is jester or ghost in which case we might be fucked but if both of us are lucky enough to escape death then that could kill off three of the eight in one night leaving it as a 2v3 which is a pretty awesome circumstance for day 2.

If I were town I would have voted Hayley right away but instead I waited until the right moment as scum. She distorted the rules and then contributed absolutely nothing afterwords.

Francine's getting a citizen to claim was a smart move but she couldn't really justify it well. I like the idea because citizens can take a bullet for the town and us.

If I was town I would have pointed out the stupidity of Steve trying to use the clue mechanic to prove that he is a cit because YOU DON'T GET ANY INFORMATION NOT ACCESSIBLE FROM THE DAY CHAT. Like really that honestly makes me doubt his citizen claim but I am saving him for a day 2 lynch target by trying to disprove the fact he is a citizen which I am confident I can create an argument to cast doubt on him. He hates me anyways and I honestly doubt if he is citizen.

I have a gut feeling that Francine is the citizen. I think she is fairly gullable and will go along with my evil plans nicely (insert evil laugh here)

I haven't heard enough from Ackbar to get anything from him. I am going to leave him as a question mark for now.

Yoshimitsu is dangerous, he is a little bit headstrong in the broken sc2 forum mafia paradigms. That trap has been done several times man and it hasn't proven jack shit. He provided a false argument for haley being scummy which no one agreed with. That tatic just annoys me in general, so yoshi annoys me.

As for our strategy I based my game plan around failing as mafia in the past by "going with the flow" and trying not to seem scummy so I am trying a new approach in being the town leader and controlling the dialogue. Pretty doing the exact opposite of what I did before and using the exact wifom Yoshimitsu said that scum wouldn't have the balls to do what I am doing. I am trying to userp the role of town leader and control the flow of the conversation.

Honestly though while it is a good idea to disagree in normal mafia games one of our biggest advantages in this vault is that they don't know there are two enclave members here. I think we should use this to act as a unit. Law you are capable of making logical arguments, use that and join me in my evil plans to mislead these pitiful vault dwellers.

As for the future, since I am the framer I suspect that Luna put at least one if not a few investigative roles in our vault. So my night action comes down to who is most likely to be investigated. I fear that would be me but I am willing to squirm my way out of it.

These are my current plans for a roleclaim senario

1) If everything goes well claim Dreamer Description: Your dreams first began on the eve of the War, where you dreamt of the coming destruction. You have always felt that your dreams have been prophetic since then. You were one of the first to discover the traitors in your midst, and hope more visions will come to you in the coming days.

Abilities: At night you may choose to dream. You will be given a list of seven names. At least one of the people on this list will be a member of the Enclave, Brotherhood of Steel, Evil Wastelander or Wasteland Wanderer. Limited to one charge.

Pertinent rulings: The list will be comprised of players who are alive when the dream command is issued. Players killed on the same night that the dream command is issued are still eligible to appear on the list. and put three names out there that aren't me or law saying I thought now was the best time to use my one charge ability to determine who we should put in the melon roulette.

2) Claim citizen and say I am going for the citizen incarnate award and I highly doubted Steve's citizen claim. The random any's let me do this regardless of his role.

3) Claim spy Description: You were despised by your fellow Vault-Dwellers for your sneaky and suspicious ways, but you were one of the first to discover the diabolical threat posed by the Enclave and the Brotherhood of Steel. You hope to gather enough intelligence to make you a valuable asset to the NCR, as you don't fancy your chances with any of the other factions.

Abilities: Discovers the identity of someone targeted by a Mafia member during the night. This is randomized and requires no target from the Spy, but the ability is limited to three charges. and accuratly say one of our night action targets. This is my go to plan if we successfully mess with one of the investigation results or if we need to get out of a jam by claiming framed.

Law when you get on please answer these questions:

1) What did you think of my play day one?
2) explain the thinking of your play day one?
3) do you have any particular observations about vault 5 members?
3) who is the ideal frame target for me?

Gaunt

After thinking about it the best decision for framing is Francine.

Hayley and Brady are going to be 50/50 dead so no one will investigate them

Everyone believes Steve's weak ass cit claim so no results will be messed with

Ackbar has stated he won't have good internet until wednesday

That leaves yoshimitsu and francine and yoshimisu did a good job on casting suspcion on francine so I will take the bait and frame her.

Law has proably been jailed.

We would be told if he was jailed. Luna would have said he didn't check the radio if he was devoured/jailed (check FAQ).

Settle down there buddy.

3) who is the ideal frame target for me?

1. You drew way too much suspicion upon yourself. Leaving your vote on Steve when he is the only confirmed town role was incredibly stupid. Next time I bail you out like like I did don't blatantly point out in your post that I am doing so. You also need to stop trying to buddy with me. While the rest of our vault doesn't know that two Enclave members are in their vault, once one of us gets lynched they will notice all the times that you referred to me, and a second lynch may quickly come after.

2. I play the same way, every game, regardless of role. I scum hunt and try to help the town. I call scummy people out, and you were the scummiest person day one. If you are going to keep posting scummy posts expect me to call you out. If you continue to post the way you have been it is inevitable that you will get lynched, and I will not attempt to defend you just so I can get lynched shortly thereafter.

3. Brady is clearly trying to get himself lynched. Francine is probably town. Steve is clearly citizen. Haley is my best guess for the Brotherhood member, but there have not been enough posts yet for me to get a good reading of people.

4. If you were not already scum, I would be framing you. If we have an investigative role in our vault they are going to check you, no doubt in my mind. You were THAT scummy. If I had to choose a second target I would pick Yoshimitsu, but I am afraid your frame is going to be worthless.

The night action cut off time is in 25 minutes - you may not submit night actions after this time.

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD STEVE IS NOT A CONFIRMED TOWN ROLE. It is like you guys have never heard of gambits before.

I have a few minutes here to change Gaunt's Frame action, if you would like. You know the Vault better than I do, since you've been focusing on their posts longer than the rest of us.

Francine appears to be some sort of PR, would you say? Or even a Cult Leader/Mason? I can't see her being mafia because why would she want to limit the number of claimed players in the vault like that?

Framing Yoshi wouldn't be a bad idea (especially since he buddied up to Gaunt at the end of the night), but if I were an investigative role, I probably would check either Gaunt (for being so forward) or Ackbar (uncontributing lurker). Perhaps Yoshi or Francine.

Gaunt, you should continue to be forceful, but also, if other players buddy up to you, allow it to happen.

For example, when Yoshi stated at the end of the day:
"Now the reason I don't think Gaunt is scum is for one very simple reason. He started the train on Hayley, which is not a safe lynch whatsoever, unlike the Steve lynch that Francine started before he showed up."

you basically accused him of being scum for siding with you by saying

"Nice gambit Yoshimitsu as Ackbar would say IT'S A TRAP (insert pic of Admiral Ackbar here)

I thought something was fishy with your analysis of Hayley but I came to my own conclusions."

It's safer to buddy up with players instead of pushing them away, because it makes them want to investigate you wondering why you are so hostile.

And while Steve is not a confirmed Town role, he definitely wouldn't be the first player I'd check as a Sheriff/Invest considering no one else claimed Citizen (who also brought up the Clue aspect). Francine picking up on this makes me think she might be the Sheriff (hence why she is so bold: she knows she cannot die at night).

Steve is as confirmed as someone can get. I have heard of gambits before, and I have heard of stupidity before. What you did was the latter.

I will not overrule your night action, as I believe it takes away from FM when you cannot make your own actions (and your own mistakes). Plus, it's more fun trying to squirm out of them if they actually become mistakes.

I hope your suspicions are correct. Good luck in the following day, fellow Strike Force members.

The Strike Force team leader may only override primary night actions for a player if they have not submitted one. The person sent to kill for each vault may be overridden at any time, however.
