New Role: Jesus or The Messiah

Role name: Jesus or The Messiah
Alignment: (Benign/Advanced)
Abilities: Can bring 1 player back from the dead. If Lynched by the town Resurrects from the dead 3 days later and causes all cultists who voted Guilty to be converted back to town. (Excluding the starting Cultist)
Win Condition: Survive until the end of the game. Cult cannot Win.
Host Options:
1) Immune to Attacks at night.
2) Evil Roles may not be Resurrected.
3) Can Anonymously speak with one player each night.
Overall effect on the metagame if implemented: A neutral role that counters Cultists.

At night when I was sleeping in a boat, it was dark and suddenly I heard a voice.

How about a jesus that is just a neutral role that needs to survive, if he dies then he gets resurrected 3 days later. If game ends while he is dead he loses, if he is alive while game ends he wins.
Perhaps make it an option to replace normal survivor with this ? (removes all vests from the survivor)

It will be rather lulz... if Jesus ressurrected himself at the critical moment when mafia was winning to vote off the Godfather. What happens when Jesus is leaked info from dead chat though?

I was thinking actually along the lines of a Dark Messiah for cult, where when he dies. He instead causes someone else to be lynched in his place and takes the place of that person once. Kind of like a disguiser, after that he becomes a cultist. But as it is... cult is already rather broken on most set ups.

Jesus would not be allowed in dead chat, since he is not permanently dead. Maybe let him haunt someone at night to not get bored? ^^

I actually have a more fun idea... but it's more likely to work in FM than in mafia.

So the idea is Jesus is supposed to get lynched, and that is his objective. If he does it, he wins, the followers however, want to stop him because they think it's a bad thing, or they lose when he gets lynched.

Will be a chaotic chaotic mafia.

Alright What if Jesus was just like a survivor but had no vests and when he is lynched he Resurrects in the place of someone who was supposed to die that night so no one would know he came back to life. He would want to get lynched as soon as possible then 3 days later he would take the place of someone who was attacked by mafia and was suppose to die.
