Who shot the Jester the second time?

As you know the jester was killed 2 times - once by a SK and once by a person with a gun. The gunsmith gave a gun to someone night 1 and that same person random used it night2 - which seems to indicate that this person wasn't town. Has this issue been resolved? I feel like this was a solid piece of info and everybody neglected it. I'm just skimming through the threads so I might have missed it.

I thought it was Clawtrocity at first, but I'm unsure now.

No no, it's not Clawtrocity. The person who shot had a gun given to him at night 1 randomly and the kill happened at night 2. We know claw was blocked nights 2 and 3 so it's 100% not him. Only the gunsmith knows the identity of the random shooter, I hope he reveals it soon.

Sarzael claimed Gunsmith, and it's possible he is part of the Cult now
