yep. I got mine on april fool's day when the ban list members had mod powers... >.>

lol. I got it for making a very long name in violation of the rules. Didn't know it violated the rules. Mod asked if I minded if he mod killed me. Said I'd just suicide instead but he said I get more points this way.

Lightning hit me on April Fool's day but I didn't get the achievement, I guess too many people left before the game ended.

Also there was a glitch and someone was struck by lightning during a trial, which caused the trial to carry on into the night and then everyone was promptly shocked that night, so I don't really know.

I've never heard of this happening within non-abusable parameters. Something was up with your game.
