Role name: Mimic
Description: Player will take the role of someone during the day and during the night will be able to act as that role.
Alignment: Neutral
Abilities: During the Day, Targets someone which they will Mimic at night. At Night, they will be able to use that role's ability. If the role which was mimic'd has no abilities or abilities which are only used during the day than they won't be able to do anything that night.
Win Condition: Live to the end of the game to see someone win.
Host Options:
1) They can Mimic 3/4/5 Times during a Game
Pros: Can take the position of a role and some roles can impact the game greatly. Ex. Mimic a Doctor and go on someone, saving them from death.
Cons: Can take the position of a role which doesn't help out or is useless at night. Ex. Mimic a Mayor and do nothing at night.
Overall effect on the metagame if implemented: It would make people think twice if a specific role did die or if the Mimic is really helping the town or mafia.
Additional comments: If the mimic dies at night when they mimic as someone than it will say that they were the role they mimic'd. Ex. They Mimic a Mafioso but die at night. When it says what role they were, it will say Mafioso has died. Though if they don't mimic someone or die during the day than it will say that Mimic has died.

Technically, the Amnesiac already fills the role of a "Copier". The Mimic could completely devastate a Town at night by mimicking a killing role such as the Serial Killer and by taking them down one by one. With 3 non-town kills every night, games would be filled with rage quitters and angry players. The main issue is the balance, but it's an overall interesting idea.

What if Mimic would be another kind of blocker but neutral this time? Blocking guys he wants to and then using their ability on target he wants.

Four big differences between Mimic and Witch:
- Mimic doesn't side with mafia but with himself.
- Mimic actually blocks target's actions not redirects as Witch does. Target is always acknowledged to be blocked.
- Mimic is immune to spells of Witch. Witch doesn't know about this immunity, though Mimic is ecknowledged that somebody tried to put spell on him (or not - depends on Witch's settings).
- Not taking action would give him ability to cancel one type of visit in this order: being killed > being supervised (in order: sheriff/consig/investigator/detective/lookout) > being blocked > being driven > being blackmailed > gets undoused.

It gives us very powerful character to deal with, tactic is either passive - big immunity, can be killed only by double targetting or lynched in a normal way or active - blocking killers and making them kill who he wants to.

More information: Serial killer as usually kills roleblockers he would normally kill Mimic. Mafia (if targeted) can pretty easily discover that there is a mimic because of the describtion - GF/Mafioso being blocked and still killing... obvious Mimic... Mimic may cause a little chaos since targetting Vigilante would suggest townies that there are two of them and one is nooby random shooter. Blocking Sheriff or Jailor would make townies think that mafia has Consort or noob escort is here etc. etc. It may be very hard to win being Mimic if there is already Witch in the game, that's why Mimic is also Adv. Neutral role to reduce probablity since 2 Neutral Adv. roles setups are pretty rare. Late game like Witch, Townie (not killing role) and Mimic would result in a tie but as long as there is a killer Mimic is ready to bring some chaos into the city.

This role is not imba since it cannot kill without help of others but is made purely to cause confusion either by skill of the player or some bad ass luck which some people amongst other noobs are used to have. It's less dangerous than SK or Arso but also more preservable so I think it balances things up.

No idea for Sheriff/Investigator decribtion... If DarkRevenant puts half of the suggested roles into the game I guess he is going to have to work for new describtions for Investigator.

How to like my idea for this role?
P.S. I'm sorry that all I can do is redoing your ideas guys since I have barely any myself (except for Corrupted Politician). I just try to stay useful for DarkRevenant and bring something freshness to mafia with my experience. Cheers
