Suicide bomber removed




Role name: Sniper
Description: You have one shot to make a difference.
Alignment: None (Power/basic)
Abilities: Shoot somebody from a distance, leaving no evidence.
*Immune to lookout detection.
*Ignore night immunity.
*You do not know who the rest of the mafia are if you kill a town person.
*If you kill a benign neutral, you die of shame.
*If you miss, you die of shame. (if target is healed or you get bus driven/witched etc.)
Win Condition:
*If you kill a member of mafia, you must win with town. (vise versa)
Host Options:
1) Immune to roleblock.
2) Lookout knows who you visited.
3) Ignore doctor heal.
4) Immune to arsonist douse. (because you go up a hill and shoot from a distance so you're not in your home etc.)
Pros: Change the game dramatically to eighter side.
Cons: Jester tricks. If your target is healed, you wasted a shot. If you are bus driven or manipulated by witch the night you decide to shoot somebody (considering you aren't manipulated to shoot your intented target) you lose.
Overall effect on the metagame if implemented: If it's a 3 town 3 mafia 1 neutral(you) situation, with the availbale information you can change the game to your advantage.
Additional comments: Same investigator message as spy.




Role name: Alchemist
Description: You know the recipe for death.
Alignment: None (Pow/Evil)
Abilities: Poison somebody each night.
*The person dies next night
*The person knows they were poisoned.
*If your target gets healed next night (when they are supposed to die) they survive.
*Poison ignores bullet-proof vests.
*Poison doesn't ignore night immunity.
Win Condition: win with other neutrals. Must kill town/mafia.
Host Options:
1) Ignore doctor heal.
2) Target doesn't know that they were poisoned.
3) Poison ignores night immunity. (serial killer, godfather, arsonist)
4) Limited to 2 poisons. (otherwise infinite poisons)
5) Invulneruble at night (would like this to not be an option, but would like to see some opinions)
6) Only certain roles don't know they were poisoned (regardless of the 2nd option) (opinions please)
7) When your target dies it's ??? like janitor/disguiser. (opinions please)
Pros: If lookout checks your target the night when you visited them and the target doesn't die, they might label you as "safe" or something.
Cons: Vulneruble killing role. If nobody else visited your target the same night, and the target dies next night, lookout knows that you must be alchemist.
Overall effect on the metagame if implemented: Trick town into thinking there's a janitor (if setup options). Kill people without being there that night and taking the risk.
Additional comments: Good at forgery mesasge for investigator. Would like 7,4,2,1 to be as the availbale options.







Role name: Gatekeeper ?
Description: Two personalities, one key.
Alignment: Mafia (Support/advanced)
Abilities: During the day choose to go to work or take a day off.
*If you go to work, you listen to the jailor's chat. (cannot talk)
*If you take the day off, you are in mafia chat.
*You do not know who the jailor/prisoner are.
Win Condition: Basic mafia condition.
Host Options:
1) Can speak in jail chat.
2) Invulneruble at night if at work.
3) Immune to detection.
4) Becomes Godfather.
Pros: Spy mechanics.
Cons: Cannot talk with mafia during night, not up to date with plans. If skypers are mafia too, this role doesn't need to chat with mafia.
Overall effect on the metagame if implemented: If you know who will get jailed, you find out their role.
Additional comments: Same investigator message as Spy.

Role name: Supplier
Description: You resupply people so they can act again.
Alignment: Town (support/basic)
Abilities: Give your target a supply pack, they get +1 action.
Win Condition: Basic town thing
Host Options:
1) Limited to 3 supplies
2) Cannot resupply non-townies.
Pros: Usefull
Cons: Bad in the hands of a noob
Overall effect on the metagame if implemented: "ok he's out of actions, we don't need to worry about him anymore" Nope.



Role name: Cafeine druggy
Description: You had too much coffee, you cannot sleep.
Alignment: Town (support/basic)
Abilities: drink too much coffee, stay up all night.
*you know exactly who visited you that night.
Win Condition:
Host Options:
1) invulneruble when awake.
2) unlimited coffee in coffee maker.
3)
4)
Pros: know who's not a killer
Cons:
Overall effect on the metagame if implemented: basicly lookout who can only target self

Suicide Bomber sucks balls! Your basiclly a surviving vet or an auto win 1 night vet. His ability doesn't do anything to help him win.

Sniper, meh.

Alchemist, meh.

Gatekeeper, what if there's not a jailor?

Priest, meh.

Mechanic NO! this role is completely depending on having the other roles.

Alchemist sounds pretty interesting, I think gatekeeper would be better if he knew who was jailed (he would see who passes through as gatekeeper afterall).
