Change the requirement from Donators, to Members.
The future of Mafia should be determined by the players devoted to it, not by a random person who has paid 1$ for in-game benefits. Someone willing to devote their time and effort into discussing about Mafia should have more power than one who decides to bribe his way into the game. Additionally, many ban-listed players are donors, most of whom have tried to donate in order to get unbanned. What do we do about them? Should they, the scum of Mafia, be the ones to decide the game's fate?
The problem is, the R&D's access is determined by money, not by effort. There's a reason why they're called Donations, and that's the reason why they should stay that way. Donations shouldn't need to carry any benefits. If anything, though, donations should give you a title, and some early unlocks, and that's about it.
