S-FM IX: Death Note (Blazer's Version)

Location: Tokyo
Background: Kira has been at large and has recently gotten the attention of the public. The Japanese Police Force has even made a special division with Americans to hunt down and capture Kira. This joint division is known as the Kira Special Investigations Unit. They are scouring the city looking for Kira. However, this task is not easy, even with all of the skill they have. Kira has since been at large, while all they could determine was that Kira was in Tokyo. However, a shadow looms over the town of Tokyo. Something is coming....something that will determine "true justice".

[Shinigami] Hello humans. I have gathered you here today for one reason. Entertainment. You will all be participating in a game of mine. Should you choose not to participate, I will simply end your life here and now. If you choose not to follow the rules, you will suffer the same fate.

As you all know, Kira has been able to escape all of the efforts of the Kira Special Investigations Unit. I have gathered the key members and put them among you today. I have also hidden Kira among the innocent suspects as well. This will be the showdown between Kira and his pursuers. Tokyo will become your chess board. I have erased all memories each of you had of each other to give each side a fair chance. It is up to you to prove you are the true hand of justice. However, if you have come into contact with a Death Note, your memories will be unaffected. Also to add to the fun, I will kill one person each day if the majority wishes it so. I will not take sides and will kill indiscriminately. You will be required to meet here once during the day and will then be dismissed for the night. You may do whatever is in your power to achieve your goal. There is also another surprise hidden among you...

With that, the Shinigami vanished. The entertainment was about to begin.

With the first meeting coming to a close, the participants anxiously awaited what would happen next. No one could be trusted. Kira was hidden among them, and one would also assume he would have some followers as well. Kira had seen all of their faces, now all he had to do was pick his targets...what was the surprise the shinigami mentioned earlier? Would anyone make it out alive? These were the thoughts of the "participants".

When the group came to meet the following day, someone was missing from the group.

It seems like a participant has already been eliminated. *Grin*
What a shame. I was hoping that I would get more entertainment from THAT one.

After further investigations, it was determined that Light Yagami(Ajkei) was the missing participant. The group found his body, limp and cold, next to a dumpster. He was shot in the back of the head execution style. The group also found a Death Note in his possession. He had all of the names written down from the previous victims. It was safe to assume that he was indeed Kira.

I assume all mafia can kill like in all other FMs, however they would obviously choose the godfather to do the killing. As he was jailed mafia would have no kill for tonight.
This also proves that we don't have a serial killer (no one was blocked) though I believe we have an almost confirmed arsonist. (no one has claimed witch thus far)

What you have to remember is that we have no confirmed investigative roles this game, so waiting for more information may not be the best tactic.

I reckon we should pressure people today but preferably don't lynch anyone. Tomorrow we will all reveal all the information we have and mass role claim, this way we should be able to figure out who's scum.

If you think I'm Trollzor, you're a fucking idiot. I didn't get in to fm XI because I made a smurf account named TroIlzor and 2 other people followed suit. Also, I'm a much better troll than Trollzor. When I troll, people get pissed (AmbiLix, Billymays etc etc) instead of just annoyed.

I doubt we'll get much done today. There are very few investigative roles (see: 1) and giving us any invest info would, in fact, reveal their role. On the other hand, citizens have the power of the vote today, so we might be able to lynch one more mafia if the invest got someone last night. On the other other hand, there might be a framer.

In answer to your question FrostByte, Blazer (being new himself) seems like the type to completely randomise the roles to make it fair. Though I'm sure he'll claim he randomised them even if that wasn't the case, as with all the other hosts.

The meeting came to a conclusion with people randomly accusing each other of being a Death Note user. No one was killed by the shinigami today. However, with Kira dead after the first meeting, things were looking up. There was hope for the rest of his cult to be brought to justice....but they would not give up so easily...will this new shadow consume them? Or will the light defeat the darkness again?

And so the second night had come to a conclusion. At the meeting there were two people missing. Misa Amane (Creedkingsx) and Jr4life24.

Misa Amane was found dead, handcuffed to a chair in a dark room. The was shot from behind, execution style. Going through her phone they found records of her communicating with Light Yagami. Their messages were about the death note and her special ability of "Shinigami Eyes". It was safe to assume they she was a Death Note Disciple who gathered information. Going through her diary, it appeared that she was also infatuated with Light Yagami and deeply in love with him. She had written how she wanted to see his plan through to fruition, and had taken her Death Note out to finish his work.

She also left a last will:
Rocshi is Jailor, he is out of executions. Basically a Citizen now. ^^v gg Rocshi, well played.

Jr4life24 was found dead in his home. He had no sings of attack or struggle. After an autopsy, it was declared that he died from a heat attack. There was no information that suggested he was anything other than a normal citizen.

What an unfortunate turn of events.

I crossed time zones during Easter, and my phone decided not to change time.
At 11:30 I thought it was 10:30. I did not jail.

This game was rather fail. I understand you may want to re-balance your setup after what happened on the first two nights Blazer. But in my opinion you should never modkill a lurking power role like that, always try and get a replacement.

In regards to the game we have 3 citizens, 1 (escort), 1 mafia and 1 evil neutral. I'm gunna say that the neutral is the arsonist, though we can't really know for sure as the target does not know if he is witched or doused.

Town needs to get a lynch today (preferably on the arsonist), so I'm going to go ahead and vote Fallen, I don't remember him posting that much so I may as well.

Though I suppose the main reason is because the more respected Fragos' S-FM and Kromos' M-FM were going on at the same time. People simply weren't that interested in a game hosted by you.

Don't be discouraged from hosting though. But if you tried it again do it with a little less competition, then you'll probably get a good mix of the newer and more veteran players.

Good point, but the majority is needed. Although it might have a bandwagon effect and I will most likely be lynched but that equals a wasted lynch and, if there is an arsonist, Town could very well dwindle down to nothing the next day.

The day came to a close with the town busy bickering among themselves. There were accusations thrown around today and the threat of suicide.
Grim-Demon swore he would take his own life tonight because he was so jealous of Rocshi's amazing luck. He gave off the impression that he was the last Death Note user.

Rocshi then tried to get the town to lynch a participant out of fear he was an arsonist. However, he was only able to muster up one follower. The other players wanted Grim dead or just weren't paying attention. Would this lead to the town's ultimate downfall?

Last night a turn of events occurred!!! There was fire burning all over Tokyo like a virus. No one was safe. The only explanation could be that there was a pyromaniac behind all of this chaos. Many people perished in the fire last night. Among the dead were Roschi, Mopin, and Goremancer.
Grim-Demon was found dead in his home. It seemed that he couldn't handle the game and took his own life.....
The only two left standing were Fallen and Rihfok!

At long last the game is finally over. What an interesting turn of events....the only victors were the surprises I threw in there....but what a surprise indeed. The arsonist has proven himself the best of all the killers...you have won this game Rihfok. You have done well and made me proud.

With that the game was over and the shinigami was left entertained. However, he was not fully satisfied and was sure to play a game again....wonder how that one will turn out....

I thought it was a pretty interesting and entertaining game.

However, I do think that the modkill of Frostbyte (I think that's who was modkilled) due to inactivity should have resulted in him being replaced, not an outright kill of his role. As an observer, it looks like this was done because of how well the Town was doing, which should never be a factor when deciding to remove a role from the game (this also would have extended the game by one day, giving the Town a final chance to win). But, what's done is done! Well done as host, Blazer. =D

Also as an observer, I would say Rocshi deserves MVP, while Rihfok deserves Best Killer. Town up in flames, Arsonist wins! A rare win, but proof that it is possible!

I was available. =D It's easier to just PM people who have died in other on-going FMs. Participating in one other FM generally isn't a problem, but once someone hits 3 or more, it becomes difficult to keep track of them all. The other thing was that, had FrostByte been replaced, the required votes to lynch would have been 4/7 instead of 4/6, which could have been achieved, especially depending on the personality of the player who replaced him. Not saying it would have changed anything, but there was that possibility.

Still, good job with the game. I look forward to participating in your next FM. :)
