NOTE: You may be thinking this day starting earlier than it should have. Well it turns out that Wolfram was showing everyone different times to what I originally intended. Ambient and I worked for about 30 mins to actually get it to show the right time for everyone so it shouldnt happen again. It must have changed a bit since I used it in FM5 :P. I am extending day 1 by 6 hours to compensate. Apologies to all people affected. Feel free to abuse me in PM to Elixir :).

August 12th, 2012, 1100 am.

The group of recruits sat in the confinement room in near dead silence. No one made eye contact and no one knew who they could trust. Many of them had begun to wonder just what they had gotten themselves into by accepting this position. It had been less than 24 hours since their arrival and they've seen a mass murder and then been told they were confined to the room until further notice. Many of them expected to be questioned by local police but no police came... it was as if it was not even reported. Some of them had noted that despite the mass murder there was still 37 members, and were wondering why it was their group that was quarentined... Everyone's still here right?

The confinement room, as its name suggests, is a very bland room. No windows anywhere, one locked door being the only passageway in or out and the only furniture being a round glass table in the centre of the room with the Abstergo Logo engraved into it.

Everyone turned at once and faced the door as small electronic sounds were made from a group of armed agents punching in the unlock code to the door. The door slid into the wall and one guard simply stepped forward and said "You're all coming with us".

As the guards led the recruits through the halls of Abstergo, they passed through the Animus Chamber. Rows and rows of small cubicles with the Animus technology as far as the walls would allow. In the north east corner, and entire section roped off with analysts still attempting to follow up the murder of the night before.

Eventually, the recruits were filtered into Room 26.A... The "board room". The board room looked very similar to the confinement room in many regards... Some of the more keen eyed recruits noted the round table was larger... enough to seat approximately 40, and there was a window that overlooked the Animus Chamber. Standing in front of that window look out to the crime scene was none other than Dr Warren Vidic, who had assumed Director of Security for the time being.

"I'm going to be straight to the point" Vidic began, "We have been infiltrated by a group seeking to sabotage everything this company has worked so hard to achieve. A new age of humanity where history can be relived and truths can be learned. The perpetrators of the murder you see before you are sitting amongst you right now".

Vidic hoped to see some people in the crowd unshocked by this revelation but he indeed had trouble getting the recruits to calm down.

"The methods we have to find them are simple. You will help us in the Animus to achieve this goal. I'm sure you have already read your emails. All of you will participate without exception... If you have any information that may lead to the apprehension of these individuals... share it in these board meetings so we might terminate their contract... Any questions?"

The recruits sat in stunned silence... half of which still had no idea what the hell was going on.

"Good... Your first Animus Session under the Security Protocol will begin later this evening... Until then I suggest you get to know each other... They're the only people you're going to see for a long while yet."

With that Vidic left the room and the door was sealed.

All 37 recruits looked around the table at each other... Now knowing murderers were among them...

Someone had to make the first move.
