Role: The Rigger (Adv./Pow.)
Affiliation: Mafia
Summary: A shady politician in the pocket of the mafia, who rigs the voting polls in favor of the whom he chooses.
Goal: Mafia wins.

Abilities: During the daytime, when a person of any role is being lynched, you can stir the number of votes to be more favorable for your desired outcome. Type -Rig during the session when someone is decided guilty or innocent and choose up to 3 (1, 2, or 3 dependent on host setup) people and assure their vote guilty or innocent.

Shares a similar purpose as the lawyer idea, but instead of just one guy having a single vote count as multiple, he'll instead change the vote of others without them knowing unless they look and see their actual outcome when the sentence is decided.

Investigator would could up with something like: This person spends their time dealing with important private affairs. They could be a Jailor or a Rigger.

Host options would include things like:

Number of enabled vote changes: 1, 2, or 3.
Number of days allowed to rig: 1 or 2.
Enable lynching after unsuccessful lynch during a rig: yes or no. (This is obviously incase the town immediately realizes a poll is rigged, and they want to try again, making the riggers attempt futile.)

Other notes:
The Rigger would be unable to use his ability when he himself is being lynched.
He cannot fix the mayor's vote if the mayor has revealed himself.
The Rigger's own vote is not counted if he chooses to use his ability.

soo hes like a mafia mayor that doesn't reveal himself. It could work but i cant say It will be an interesting role for the metagame.

Well, like a lot of roles, his value increases the further the game progresses. For instance:

Trying to make sure one of your fellow mafia being lynched on day two is voted innocent, will be much less likely to succeed/will make it obvious there's a rigger, as opposed to trying to keep whoever is still alive safe from being lynched late game when you just need the mafia to survive a day or two to potentially secure the win.

However, if he waits too long to use his abilities, there's always the chance he himself could be lynched or just killed at night.

Clearly he would be nice, idea overall is good but i dont know if changing 3votes when 5 people left isnt overpowered abit(kinda like mayor but then he dies without support).

Well that's what the host setup options are for. If the variant dictates the Rigger would be absurd with 3 votes, it can be changed to only get 1 or 2.

Also, even if he only has 1 or 2 votes to change, it could still wreak havoc. E.g. if a Mafioso gets discovered early and town all scream to lynch, remaining mafia can vote guilty and rigger can make 2 townies vote innocent, possibly getting those 2 lynched / shot by vig / jailed etc.

His role would be very variant/setup dependant, but overall I think he would make for a much more interesting game.
