The couple games i've been playing with him, he gets lynched and he gets angry then kicks the people who lynch him saying they are in skype or something when they aren't.

Oh hai I just wrote a nice write up in another thread if you wanna take a look at that.
You're right I'm so wrong that you all weren't in skype together, but being in Party Chat with each other is the same thing. Don't do it or you'll get kicked again.

I normally make sure they are before I post anything or kick anyone I know that they are cheating 100% either by them admitting it or them making it blatantly obvious. I have replays to back up every kick, I think its a good idea to post them if you are accusing someone or they are accusing you. Regardless by default I side with claw, if he kicked you he probably had good reason.

is it possible to make ban lists that make the game kick a person immediately?
If anyone is afraid of unfair bans(I am) make it only possible by DR and possibly add a voting requirement beforehand by the goers of the forums(aka the inhousers) and require a replay.

SC2's framework and that of battle.net make banlists like WC3 impossible. We've looked into it.

Claw's going to kick me, Rev, and Proc in our next game :(

Normally I don't post on these forums but felt the need to after this game, involving the following people: Claw, NorthStar, Acolyte (host), Tilyx, Damastas, NegusBlack, Yutao, kevinfookyoo, Boblog, Crimson, Xegan, Phloat, Repcon and me, FestiveKarab. It was a mostly in house game.
From my understanding, Acolyte was GF and Claw was disguiser. Night one Acolyte changed who he was targeting several times, which according to Claw "forced her to use her ability." (I don't see how disguiser is forced to use ability, especially night one, but ok). The following day, Claw immediately outed the entire Mafia, effectively ruining and ending the game. She eventually warned and kicked Acolyte from the game, and the game ended in a couple days.
I have no idea how or why Claw has moderator power, when she trolls like no other. Things don't go exactly her way and she feels the need to ruin an entire game. Even if your partners are "noobs" there is no excuse for outing mafia and ending the game.

I am acolyte from that game. In game, I'm "VodkaHasLeftTheGame". I'm uploading the replay.
The problem was when I switched targets the first night. Claw (also "claw" in game) was upset that he didn't get to kill the same target as me.
He promptly revealed my mafia team the next day, and then kicked me.
I have attached the replay file. It says a moderator has to approve it..so I'll wait for that.
Also..claw completely refused to comment in his post above? I wonder why.

I think I have chosen female instead of scientist so when Claw ruined my good name, it showed up as a female. I think?
Anyways, that's not important.
What's important that Claw misused his mod powers to ruin a completely legitimate game just because things didn't go his way. I think it was rude that he took my identity and completely started using harsh language to completely oust the other mafias.

idk, i heard from multiple people multiple times that Claw is a female. Whether that is accurate or not I have no idea.

Looking forward to warding this replay when I get home. I think moderators can have an opinion and I express mine often but I will never use mod powers regardless of how stupid I think someone played unless they blatantly afk or excessively trolled as town or excessively lagged without triggering a drop or blatant and proven party cheating. I doubt these claims are true but replays are foolproof

Hello
I played a game with these folks earlier and Night 1 Acolyte wouldn't let me target his target. I felt after I used my disguise ability(Night 1) That he had ruined the game for me. I figured he was trolling since he kept changing targets up until the last second. All I wanted was to choose his target and if they got healed then I'd be able to take that person over, say thanks for the heal. The Spy would say I was clean, the doctor would agree that he did indeed heal me, and I'd be golden.
He changed his targets about 4 times in the last second and I was screwed because I couldn't even click the cancel button fast enough.
So yea, I'm not going to play a single game of Mafia where the Mafia teammates are screwing each other over. I figured this strategy wouldn't be too complex for people, but I was wrong. So I called them out the following day along with sheriffs and investigators calling out the mafia at the same time.
Then who I'm assuming was Festive(Whoever was brown in the game) and Pink(Acolyte) started bashing me for calling out my own Mafia. Which actually could of been used as Jester bait, but Pink couldn't think fast enough and just started yelling at me for being a "cunt" "ass" "troll" other stuff like that. Brown joined in on it and I warned Pink at first for taking it so seriously and I told him I was Claw. He said I was never invited to his games again(Not a big deal).
I told him to calm down and explained my reasoning and kept TRYING to play the jester act about how much I hate him and how much he is GF. (Btw someone else claimed he was GF at the very beginning and it happened to be the person I was disguised as so again...Still don't know why he gave up then yelled at me for cheating/trolling.)
At the end I was lynched and both brown and pink kept at it. The game was over and I kicked him for not dropping it. It continued on in the channel for about 10 minutes before I decided to leave and play some TF2.
Was I a douche for calling out my Mafia teammates? Probably
Was I abusing Mod Powers to win a game? Nope.
Was I trolling? 50/50 I was mad that he screwed me over, but I thought since I was purple(The guy who accused him) I'd go ahead and call him out. Looking back on it I probably shouldn't of called out the 3rd mafia and it might of worked better, but oh well.

I was actually talking about red, at the beginning. Seriously, he's the worst godfather that ever played. I always get him being mafia as godfather, I just forgot to say that I was talking about red. Ironic that pink was godfather. This was before the game even started and those accusations should not have been taken seriously in any way.
Anyways, they had every right to berate you with 'cunt' 'ass' and 'troll'. In my opinion they were correct to believe that you were such things. You weren't so perfect yourself, you know. You came out of the gates swinging day one with 'retard' multiple times. This was before anything was ever said back to you (http://i.imgur.com/5O1EZ.jpg)
Seriously, it was a miscommunication among mafia and you take it the worst way possible. Vodka (acolyte) wanted to be able to kill two people in one night and you had other plans. You exploded and ruined the game because things didn't go your way. The Godfather is supposed to be the mob boss and call the shots. That's the role right?
Also, it's interesting that you say that him not inviting you to his games was 'no big deal' as that is what he said right before you booted him out.
Did you abuse your powers to win a game? Nope
You came in the game and ruined it by being the biggest obstinate troll I've ever seen. Then you abused your powers to put it over the top. You shouldn't have called him out, in any situation. The accusation I made wasn't serious. Unless there's some super secret role that I don't know about that can tell who the mafia is before the game even starts.

If you were the old purple then you indeed did say those things after the game had started and you said it was vodka.
I don't kick for flaming. If I kicked for flaming I'd be kicking a shit ton of people daily. I'm a moderator, not the pope. I was just stating what they were saying when they wouldn't drop it.
Me calling him an idiot and retarded was to help my Jester case. I wanted everyone to think I was a disgusted Mafia that had messed up. I've done the exact same thing as a Jester. Witch controlled a disguiser day 1. I claimed all this happened and I got ignored because everyone thought I was Jester. They knew I had to be Jester because they all thought nothing like this could ever happen in a real game...I know right?
I only had one possible out and that was to hope to god someone invested purple and he really was Jester.
I shouldn't even have to defend my playstyle for that game because that's not what's in question. You guys are accusing me of abusing my powers.
I don't know how it's so different between the game and any web forum where people usually respect the Mods. You guys act like we think we're better than you. (I'm saying we, but I really mean moderators including, but not limited to, myself.)
We're players too. We don't abuse our powers. We try to be nice.
We don't force you to respect us(I.E. kicking cause you called us names) and we don't ruin games. We try to be a positive influence and help the game out to the best of our ability, but we get shat on like we're authority figures. We're not the cops, we're more like those cool teachers in high school who ask you to to put down the weed when we catch you instead of tazing you and shoving you into a cop car. If you keep smoking the weed you're going to get in trouble, but if you just respect us enough to listen and have the courtesy to not be a dick about it then we'll be good.
Hope that analogy was sufficient enough, but if it isn't then I don't know what else to tell you.

So I watched the Replay and here are a few pointers and statements I would like to make.
1: I random spam targets sometimes as GF because I like to random kill. There is nothing wrong with disguiser disguising on night 1 because if you get found out as mafia by a sheriff you are fucked and starting off with 2 kills is not such a bad call.
2: The GF has a right to play however the fuck he wants and is 100% right that you could have gone with it. Just because he did something that you did not agree with or played in a manner that you disagreed with gives you 0 fucking right to INTENTIONALLY RUIN the game for the entire team. That is the equivalent of a 10 year old not getting the toy he wants and throwing a tantrum so his parents are embarrassed, Immature and uncalled for.
3: You calling out the mafia members because they did not play how YOU wanted to and ruining the game would have gotten you kicked if I was in the game, REGARDLESS of what happened. Nobody up to that point did anything other than "deviate from Claw's standards of play". I may get upset with people playing poorly but I NEVER kick or ruin a game over it. I also try not to kick trolls until they die as it gives a massive disadvantage to the players that are on the person kicked team.
4: I would have been FURIOUS with you as a moderator and someone who is supposed to set an example of what to do and what not to do when it comes to overall gameplay: No Crazy trolling as town ect. IMO after what you did the OP had every right to be pissed because even tho he randomly picked someone you could have said next night "plz don't spam kill like that, lets try to stick with 1 person so we have a plan and everyone can do their jobs."
5: There was no jestering to be done. That was blatant you pissed me off, so fuck you mafia im revealing you all and ruining the game. I know jestering, there was none to be found there. Nobody even accused you of being mafia and you come out and make it 100% obvious that you simply want to punish them.
Should Claw lose moderator over this, Hell No. Claw is a good moderator and most of the times when people get a chance to look in the mirror after making a mistake they can take a step back and learn from it. Again nobody is perfect and everyone does the best they can. I just ask myself before every single kick i make and often ask others in the game. "Will this end up in the complaints forum?"
Was this fucking retarded on Claw's part, Hell Yes. Will he probably do anything like it again, probably not.
So lets end this thread and move the fuck on because we got some exciting new roles coming out and some awesome updates from DR as well as Elixirs Cup coming up!

Goon, that'd be great if we were actually respected. Nobody takes anything we say seriously and we're never allowed to kick without ruining a game and abusing our powers.
With great power comes great responsibility and every single super villain wants to fuck with you so you basically enter a lose/lose. You keep doing it because it's fun and you feel like you're helping, but then you get your asskicked by Doc Oct and kind of want to give up. We're the batman's and spider-mans of the game. Some people like us and look at us as heroes and others will only try to kill us. I just compared being a moderator to being a super hero. I am not egotistical.
I already admitted to being a douche and I said it probably didn't go as smoothly as I had originally thought because I did intend on it to either 1: Fool the hell out of a stupid ass town(I'm okay with that) or 2: Lose the game for a guy who screwed up my role.(I'm okay with that)

I don't care if i'm respected. I care that games I am in are cheater/griefer free and smooth. I find that makes the respect issue trivial.
